"De Rosset, Moses John, the younger (1796-1826), had his academic degree from
the University of North Carolina in 1816 and his medical diploma from the New
York Medical College in 1820. He practiced medicine in co-partnership with his
father. In the yellow-fever epidemic of 1821 he was particularly active and
skillful. Though he practiced but six years before his untimely end, he he left
a splendid reputation."
