Mary Davis was christened in Catsfield, Suxxex, England on 2 Feb 1633/4. (1) The record stated that her father was Dolar Davis.  She came to the colonies as a young child.  She married Thomas Lewis on 15 Jun 1653 in Barnstable. (2)  They had at least four children.  Her father wrote his will on 2 Jul 1673 naming his daughter Mary, wife of his son-in-law "Lewis." (3) She died abouty 1687. (4)

"I do also bequeath to my son in law Lewis my cloth suite and coat and hat and to my daughter Mary his wife a cow which is at present in my son Samuel's keeping, as also fifty shillings the half of a Bill of five Pounds due to me from my son Samuel. As also all my bedding, pewter and brass and other household stuff now in my dwelling house at Barnstable."
