indenture tripartite on 3 July 1736, between James Stout of KE Co.,planter
and his wife Ann one of the daus. of Saint Leger Codd late of the same
county, Esq., dec., of the first part and Mary Hopkens of the same county
widow, lately called Mary Codd another dau. of sd. Saint Leger of the second
part and Gideon Pearce, Junr. of the same county, mariner and Beatrix his
wife another dau. of the same Saint Leger of the third part. Whereas the
afsd. Saint Leger Codd was seized in his lifetime of 250 a. part of Worton
Manor and d. intestate and sd. land descended to the same Ann, Mary and
Beatrix as his heirs, since whose death sd. Ann m. James Stout, the afsd.
Mary [m.] Benjamin Hopkens since dec. and Beatrix the same Gideon

his wife Anne, conv. to Gideon Pearce, Junr., mariner. Whereas the same
James and Anne together with Mary Hopkins, widow, and the afsd. Gideon
[Pearce] and Beatrix his wife in right of Anne, Mary and Beatrix, daus. of
Saint Leiger Codd, dec., were seized of 250a., part of Morton McCannor by

relict of Benjamin Hopkins late of KE Co., dec., conv. land to Joseph
Hopkins of Chester Town in KE Co., Gent., son and heir of afsd. Benjamin
Hopkins. Whereas the afsd. Mary Watkins is now possessed of Hopewell Unity,
150 a. in ICE Co., which sd. parcel was assigned by the sd. Joseph Hopkins
to afsd. Mary Watkins in lieu of her right of dower which she the sd. Mary
