July 1, 1932 Rev. W. B. Carns Leaves Church of Epiphany The Rev. William Boyden Carns, who has been curate at the Church of the Epiphany for more than two years, closed his work in that parish yesterday, June 30. He joins the staff of clergy at Trinity Cathedral on Sixth avenue, Pittsburgh. Mr. Carns came here from the Philadelphia Divinity School in the early summer of 1930, having just been made a Deacon. He was ordained priest in December of the same year at the Bellevue church. He has been Dr. Hill's sympathetic and congenial colleague and has endeared himself to the people by his indefatigable visiting in their homes. All good things be with him in the new work, and in all the years to come. |
