According to Bassett Genealogy, "They lived in Wallingford in that part now
Cheshire. He married (2) Feb'y 17, 1726, Mary Brooks. In 1730 Nathaniel gave
receipt for part of his father's estate. He died of smallpox. Thirteen children
are reported from these two short marriages."
In the baptismal record for his son, Stephen, he is referred to as "Sergt Bunnil"
