"Book Y, p. 1 28 & 29 Apr. 1742  Deed of Gift
Henry Joseph Videau, planter, only son & heir of Peter Videau, & Anne his wife, to their sister, Jane Bonneau, widow of Jacob Bonneau, planter, all of Berkeley co., for tender love & affection, 102 a. in Berkeley Co.  Whereas Peter Videau, planter, (father of Henry Joseph & Jane) soon after Jacob Bonneau married daughter Jane, in 1709, Jacob & Jane Bonneau 102 a. in St. Thomas Parish, Berkeley co., bounding NE & SE on James Bremar; NW & SW on John Pagett; & Jacob & Jane enjoyed the land until about 1734 when Jacob died intestate; then Jane held the land but the deed was lost through accident; now Henry & Ann Videau confirm Jane Bonneau in her possession. "Jacob Bonneau, planter, & Mary his wife, to Anthony Bonneau, planter, both of Berkeley Co., for 150 pounds currency, 102 a. in St. Thomas Parish, Berkeley Co,  bounding NE & SE on James Bremer; NW & SW  on the widow Pagett.  Whereas Peter Videau, planter (grandfather of Jacob Bonneau, party hereto, in 1709 gave to Jacob Bonneau & Jane his wife ( father & mother of Jacob Bonneau party hereto), 102 a. in Berkeley co., & whereas Peter Videau's deed of gift to Jacob Bonneau & Jane his wife, has been accidentally lost; & whereas it appears that since that time, Henry Videau (?) and Ann his wife, have by L & R dated 28 & 29 Apr 1742 given Jane Bonneau (what?); now Jacob & Mary Bonneau convey the 102 a. to Anthony Bonneau.  Witnesses: John combe, Moses Miller, Walter Dallas.  Before James Akin, J.
