Remarks: It is not noted in the book that
George Brock Senior used a mark to sign, however it is shown that one of
the witensses used their mark. George Brock Senior of New Kent Co.
VA, later Albemarle, always signed with his mark GB or Gb.
Although slight, it leaves some speculation as to if this is the George
Brock Senior of New Kent & Albemarle County. Of importance however
is the witness Patrick Napier. Patrick Napier was a witness to
George Brock Senior's Will. |
