Evan Brock also known as Evin Brock, E. H. Brock and Harvey Brock married 1st Unknown and married second, Letitia Rogers the 9th of February 1864 Lincoln County Kentucky. The following  marriage information is derived from the Lincoln County Kentucky Records Vol 1, Marriage Register 1781-1908. page 250.

 E. H. Brock to Letitia Rodgers. H. D. Brock surety Feb 9, 1864 married at residence of Polly Rodgers. Groom resident of Macon County, Missouri, age 42, 2nd marriage, farmer. He and parents born in Lincoln County Kentucky. Bride, 25, born in Tennessee. Father born Virginia, Mother born Tennessee.

 Letitia Rogers was the daughter of Adenstone Rogers and Mary Baker. Letitia's sister, Lucinda Rogers married Henry D. Brock

[check original record] the 26th of November, 1861. Bride was age 24 next January, born Lee County, Virginia. Father and Mother born Hawkins County, Tennessee. They were married in the home of Adenston Rogers.

Evan H. Brock was the son of Davis Brock and Sarah King. Davis Brock and Sarah King were married the 9th of April 1821 in Lincoln County Kentucky. Copy of Marriage record on hand. Davis Brock was on the 1840 Census Randolph County, Missouri.

From the Estate Papers of Richard Brock, Lincoln County, KY, Box 122 E. H. Brock is listed as heir of Davis Brock. (See Davis Brock Document)

After they married Evan Brock took Letitia back to Macon County Missouri.

Evan Brock is thought to have died about 1903

About 1902-1904 Letitia Brock and/or her children make application for the Dawes Commission as Choctaw and are located in Vista, Oklahoma. Letitia Brock is noted to be 1/8 Choctaw and her children 1/16.

(Notes: It appears that Letitia was claiming through her great grandmother Celia Bledsoe. [At this date I have no idea how the Bledsoe's connect to the Rogers or Bakers] Mary Baker was Letitia Brocks mother. It seems that her application was rejected.  One letter does state that the Commission believed she was "Indian". The problem was that none of her ancestors had filed previously, thus no paper trail to prove her ancestry)

These statistics seem to be dramatic picture of a mixed blood family who were often listed as white. It also appears that because of the mixed blood they migrated often - VA, TN, KY, MO, OK, NM, TX. Without knowing a single personal thing about this family the difficulty of being from two races just jumps out from the page. White or Indian, where do we live? what do we do? where do we go?
