Welcome to my web pages.
First, I'll introduce myself. My name is Bernie Bradner. I am a retired purchasing manager from the aerospace industry. Currently I'm enjoying a slower pace of life after 40 years of working, to do those things for which I previously never had time (and still don't). My interests are gardening, travel and genealogy — both as prior executive member of a local area genealogy group for 22 years and keenly interested in the research of my Irish and English ancestors. I also spend time volunteering at the local seniors centre as a weekly convenor to a Family History group.
I was originally infected by the family history bug in the late 1980s when an Uncle passed away intestate and I had the chore of finding all my cousins to complete a probate. I had lost track of some of them since they had moved away to the USA and four other Canadian provinces. After honing my detective skills on the search I realized how much fun and challenge the experience was and went on to discovering my ancestors and researching all other unrelated Bradners.
Now I realize that doesn't tell you much about me, but at least it is a short biography.
Once again welcome to this site and I hope you enjoy using it as much as I have in pulling it together.
