Went on Government work. Started from Hamilton to Darrels Island thence to Bozes’ thence back to Darrells thence to Egars and back to Hamilton. Ana worked for Mr Ingram. Feb 4^th-5-6-7-8 total five days.

7am Wensday Feb 12/1902
went from Hamilton to Hopkin's Island thence to Hamilton thence to Hinson's thence to Hamilton and at 10 30 am went to the harf to repair pumps. Did not do any more work this day as we finished pumps at 6 pm.

Thursday 13 /1902
at 7 15 am left Hamilton went to Egars Isl took two barges in tow for Bouys and for Ireland Island thence to hawkins Isld thence to Darrells thence to Hinsons isl thence to Bert's Isl thence back to Hawkins thence to Bouys thence back to Hamilton. 5 30.

Friday Feby 14/1902
Left Hamilton at 7 30 am took stores to Ports Isls thence to Hawkins thence to Tuckers Isl thence to Port Isl thence back to Hamilton at 3 pm. Went to Hinsons Isl thence to Bouys Isl and towed barge no 1 to Egers Isl thence back to Hamilton arr at 6 15 pm.

Saturday Feby 15/1902
at 7 30 am went to Egers Isl took barge to Hinsons Isld thence to Tuckers Isld thence to Hamilton thence took lighter of wood to Berts Isld thence back to Hinsons Isld then towed Capt. Wilson's boat out into the bay with dirt and then took her to Tuckers Isld thence went to Ports Isld thence to Hinsons Isld thence to Berts and back to Hamilton. 5 30.

Monday Feby 17/1902
at 7 30 went to Ireland Isld with two barges thence back to Berts Isld for prisoners of war thence to Tuckers thence back to Berts thence to Hamilton thence to ireland Isld and took two barges one to Egars Isld and one to Hamilton arr at 6 pm.

No work today. All boats layed up.

Wensday 19/02
At 7 30 am took water boat into wharf then went to Hawkins Island and took a dingy on deck then went to Egars then went to Hamilton with barge and waited untill she was loaded with stores left their at 4 30 and towed the barge to Hamilton arr at 5 30 pm

At 7 am left St George for Hamilton arr 8 50.
at 6 am left Hamilton for St George arr 8 10 left St George at 8 55 for Ireland Isld arr 10 45 thence to bouys Isld thence to Tuckers arr 12 25 thence to Darrells arr 1 02 pm. Left at 1 15 for Hamilton 1 40 thence to Darrells thence to Bouys thence to Ireland and thence to St George arr at St George 7 pm.

Friday 21st/1902
left St George 7 am for Hamilton arr 8 53 got water and left 1 35 left for Ports thence to Darrells thence to Hawkins thence to Morgans thence to Tuckers thence to St Geroge arr at St George at 6 pm.

Saturday 22/02
Left St George at 1 30 pm for Hamilton arr at 5 40 went to Buoy and mored.

Monday 24/
Left Hamilton at 7 am went to Egars & took No 3 barge to Bouys Isld and No 1 barge to Ireland Isld arr at Ireland at 9 35 am wited for barge to load, and at 2 10 pm went to Bouys & took No 3 in tow & went to Tuckers left at 3 10 for Hawkins Isld & thence to Darrells & thence to Egars with the empty barges. Moored barges & went to Hamilton. At Darrells did not get recpt for tents landed as they promised. To forward it next morning after counting the goods. arr 6 pm.

Tuesday 25th/1902
At 7 am left Hamilton and went to Eagers Isld and filled water at 11 10 left to assist duty boat left Hawkins with duty boat at 1 45 pm. Left duty boat in the bay at 2 10 pm & went to Conyers wharf and took coal barge to Tuckers at 3 pm left Tuckers at 4 18 pm went to Hinsens Isld & returned prisoners of war to Hawkins then to Hamilton arr at 6 pm.

Wensday 26/02
At 7 am went to Darrells Isld. Took stores to Berts thence to Morgans thence to Tuckers thence to Hawkins arrived at 3 30 thence to Hinsons thence to Hamilton arr at 6 pm.

Thursday 27/02
At 7 am went to Ireland Isld for stores. Left for Hawkins at 10 30. Hamilton at 2 30 went to Bouys Isld thence to Ireland Isl thence to Duckingstool thence to St George arr at 6 pm.

Monday 3rd/02
At 6 30 am left Hamilton for Tuckers Isld with barge No 4 thence to Hamilton thence to Steamer with lighters thence to Hamilton. The remainder of this day the Ana was doing service between steamer and Hamilton arr 6 pm.

Tuesday 4th/02
Left Hamilton at 7 am went to Agers Isld thence to Hamilton thence to Agers Isld thence to Tuckers for barge left Tuckers at 10 30 for Hawkins thence to Darrells Isld for Barge No 1 thence to Berts thence to Hawkins thence to Boys thence to Hamilton ...arr at 6 30 pm.

Wensday Mar 5th/02
At 6 pm took No 1 & No 4 barge to Ireland Isld. When loaded at 12 40 took them to Warwick Castle at 1 40 pm went to Tucers Isld with No 3 barge thence to Hinsens Isld for POW thence to Hawkins Isld thence to Hamilton thence to Agers for water & back to Hamilton arr pm 6.

Thursday 6th/02
At 6 am left Hamilton with No 1 & 4 barges No 4 to Bouys Isld No 1 to ireland Isld took in stores thence went to SS Warwick Castle thence to Bouys Isld and took No 4 to Castle thence to Ireland thence back to Castle & took No 1 to Ireland Isld thence took No 1 to Castle & took No 4 in tow and brought both barges to Hamilton moorings arr at 6 pm.

Friday Mar 7/02
At 7 am left Hamilton went to Ireland Isld with No 1 barge took in stores & went to Castle thence to Ireland at 2 30 with No 1 barge to load at 2 45 left for Hinsons Isld for POW thence to Hawkins thence to Ireland Isld for No 1 barge back to Hamilton arr 6 pm.

Saturday Mar 8/02
At 7 am left Hmailton with No 3 barge & no 1 for Ireland Isld left No 1 and loaded No 3 for St Georges at 2 45 left for St George arr at 5 pm took goods of Ana's deck finished at 6 pm.

Monday Mar 10th/02
At 6 am went to Agers Isld and shifted the guards & back to Hamilton thence to Darrells Isld at 10 35 am left Darrells for Berts Isld at 11 35 left Berts with stores for Ireland Isld arr at 11 55 and at 2 55 pm left for Hinsens shifted POW to Hawkins thence to Hamilton arr at 5 30 pm.

Tuesday Mar 11/02
At 7 am left Hamilton & went to Darrells took the guards on and returned to Hamilton at 9 45 am left Hamilton on return with guards at 12 30 pm thence back to Hamilton & at 3 15 pm went to Hinsens and returned POW to Hawkins thence to Morgans and towed No 5 barge to moorings arr at 5 30 pm.

Wednesday Mar 12/02
At 6 30 am left Hamilton with No 5 barge went to Hawkins Isld thence to Hinsens with POW thence to Darrells and done the refuse duty to all the Isld at 2 40 pm. Left for Ireland Isld and took No 5 barge to Hamilton moorings thence to Hinsens Isld and returned POW to Hawkins thence to Hamilton arr at 5 45 p.

Thursday Mar 13/02
At 6 30 am left Hamilton and went to Hawkins Isld and took POW to Hinsens Isld thence to Ports and done the refuse duty to all the Islands and at 1 40 pm returned to Hamilton at 4 pm went to Hinsens and returned POW to Hawkins thence back to Hamilton arr at 5 40 pm.

Friday Mar 14/02
At 6 30 am left Hamilton & went to Hawkins Isld. Shifted P of W to Hinsens Isld then to Ports and done refuse duty to all the Islds returned to Hamilton at 3 30 pm at 4 10 went to Hinsens Isld and returned P of W to Hawkins thence to Hamilton arr at 5 40 pm.

Saturday Mar 15/02
At 6 30 am left Hamilton went to Hawkins Isld and took P of W to Hinsens Isld thence to Ports and done refuse duty up to 11 am thence to Hinsens Isld returned P of W to Hawkins at 1 30 took on refuse from moored barge. Hawkins finished and arr at Hamilton arr 5 pm.

Monday 17 Mar
At 6 30 am left Hamilton went to Hawkins Isld took P of War to Hinsens Isld thence to Ports and done refuse duty to all the Islands and at 2 pm returned to Hamilton and at 4 pm went to Hinsens and returned P of W to hawkins thence to Hamilton arr 5 30 pm.

Tuesday Mar 18th/02
At 6 30 am left Hamilton and went to Hawkins Isld took P of W to Hinsens thence to Ports and done refuse to all the Islds thence to Hamilton and at 1 50 pm finished at 2 50 returned P of W to Hawkins thence to Hamilton thence to Agers Isld and returned workman to Hamilton arr at 5 30 pm.

Wednesday Mar 19th/02
At 6 30 am left Hamilton went to Hawkins Isld took on POW for Hinsens Isld thence to Ports and all the other Islds & done refuse duty finished at 3 pm. Came in to Hamilton to repair pumps, finished work 3 pm.

Saturday Mar 22/02
At 7 am left Hamilton went to Hawkins with stores thence back to Hamilton arr 9 20 am thence to Darrells wharf thence to Agers Isld and returned workman to Hamilton arr 11 20 thence took water tank to Darrells Isld thence to Darrells wharf took No 4 barge to moorings thence to Darrells and returned water tank to moorings left Darrells Isld at 7 10 arr moorings at 7 50 pm.

Monday Mar 24th/02
At 7 am left Hamilton went to Darrells wharf with No 4 barge thence to Agers with stone and sand thence put No 5 barge to wharf thence to I took No 4 barge to Hamilton at 12 30 went to Agers with No 4 barge took No 5 to Lloyds wharf and No 3 to Morgans thence back to Morgans at 1 55 arr 2 30 thence to Lloyds and took No 5 to Morgans thence to Agers with No 5 and thence to Hamilton with No 3 arr at 6 45 pm.

Tuesday 25/Mar
At 7 am left Hamilton went to SS Kayo Mona thence to Agers Isld for workman thence to Hamilton took No 1 barge to steamer thence to Agers Isld with boat of stores thence to steamer thence to Hamilton and back to steamer at 12 o'clock went to Agers thence to Ireland Isld with No 3 barge stores thence to Agers at 1 15 pm thence to Hamilton. Left Hamilton for Boes Isld with No 3 barge thence to I Isld left II at 3 45 pm with No 3 barge for Boes I at 5 35 left with No3 and No 4 barges for Egars Isld and put No 1 to moorings and took No 3 and No 4 to Hamilton moorings arr at 7 20 pm.

Wednesday Mar 26/02
At 7 am left Hamilton went to Egars Isld put No 1 barge to wahrf thence to Darrells wharf with No 4 barge thence to Ports and all the Islands & done refuse work at 2 pm left Darrells Isld and finished refuse at 2 55 thence to Darrells wharf & towed No 4 barge to moorings for workman and back to Hamilton arr 4 30 pm.

Thursday mar 27/02
At 7 am left Hamilton went to Darrells Isld took tools from packer thence to Hawkins thence to Boes with No 5 barge arr at 9 30 am thence back to Hamilton at 11 50 went to Boes and towed barge to Hawkins thence to Darrells with barge thence back to Hawkins left Hawkins at 5 15 pm for Hamilton moorings finished at 6 pm.

Monday March 31/02
At 7 am docked stone barge and at 8 30 weather being wet went off duty this day .. would continue till 5 pm.

April 1st/02 Tuesday
At 7 am left Hamilton went to Agers with workman thence to Boes Isld wiith No 4 barge thence to all the Islds & done the refuse trip finished the refuse at 3 30 pm thence to Agers & towed No 4 barge to Hamilton thence to Agers & returned workman to A & H arr at 5 30 pm.

Wednesday April 2/02
At 7 am left wharf & put No 5 barge to dock then took No 4 to Burrows shed thence to Agers Isld with workman and stores thence to all the Islds & done refuse duty thence to Hamilton thence to Agers and returned working party arr at 5 30 pm.

At 7 am left Hmailton went to Agers with working party thence took Albert to Boes Isld thence to Tuckers thence to Morgans and all the Islds and done refuse duty. finished at 3 pm thence went to Boes Isld & towed Albert to Hamilton moorings arr at 4 30 pm. This is full day.

Monday April 7/02
At 7 am left Hamilton went to Ireland Isld with Albert thence to all the Islds & done refuse duty finished at 2 pm and came to Hamilton left at 3 pm went to Tuckers took Albert in tow thence to Agers Isld took on workman & came to Hamilton moorings arr at 6 30 pm.

Tuesday April 8/02
At 7 am left Hamilton took R E workman and No 4 barge to Agers thence to Ports thence to all the Islds & done refuse duty finished at 1 45 pm thence went to Darrells took on dingy boat thence to Agers & took workman & No 4 barge to Hamilton moorings arr at 3 30 pm. This a full day.

From April 8 to April 17 boat at St Georges under repairs.

April 17/ at 7 30 am left St George for Hamilton arr at 10 am at 10 10, left Hamilton & went to Tuckers took on stores for I Ireland thence to Morgans took stores thence to I I arr at 12 30 left 2 15 pm called at Hawkins & Hinsens to assist coal contractor thence to Hamilton arr 3 30 pm. This a full day.

Friday 18/ April
At 7 am left Hamilton 7 went to Agers with workman thence to Hamilton at 9 45 left with preserved meals to all the Islds at 4 pm to Hinsens left 4 45 for Agers thence to Hamilton arr at 5 pm.

Saturday April 19/02
At 7 am left Hamilton with No 6 barge for Boaz thence to Tuckers 7 done the refuse duty to all the Islds finished at 12 20 pm & went to Boaz 7 took No 6 barge to Hawkins thence to Hinsens & back to Hamilton arr 4 pm. This a full day.

Steam untill 9 20 am. Fireman & engineer went from boat.

at 9 20 left Hamilton & went Agers & returned guards to Hamilton at 10 10 am went to Boaz Isld with officer and guards thence to Hamilton at 12 55 pm left Hamilton for Darrells at 2 55 left for Hinsons arr at 3 15 pm left at 4 45 thence to Hamilton arr 5 10 pm.

At 7 am went to club steps at 10 10 took on A & C (?) and went to Boes Isld thence to ireland Isld arr at 11 am left at 11 30 am for Hamilton arr Club Steps at 12 10 thence to Hawkins Isld at 12 40 left at 2 25 arr at Hinsens Isld at 2 40 pm, left at 3 10 for Hamilton arr at 3 25 pm. At 7 am left Hamilton with No 3 barge & went to Ireland Isld & loaded explosives arr at 8 15 am left at 10 am for St George arr 12 noon left at 3 pm for Ireland Isld arrived at Agers at 5 35 moored lighter and left for Hamilton arr at 6 10 pm.

Friday April 25/02
At 7 am left Hamilton went to Agers took No 3 barge to I I with explosive arr 8 10 am thence to all the Islds done refuse duty finished refuse at 1 30 pm went to I I and returned No 3 barge to Moorings then went to James Wharf and towed No 1 barge to ?. Finished at 4 30 pm.

Saturday April 26/02
At 6 am left Hamilton with No 1 barge for Id Id at 7 am took on stores for St George & left at 8 30 am arr St George at 10 50 unloaded and took in stores for Hamilton left at 1 30 pm arr at ASW at 4 00 pm waited to unload barge and took her to moorings. Finished at 5 pm.

Monday April 28/02
At 7 am left Hamilton with No 3 barge for St George arr 9 10 am waited to unload and take stores on deck for Hawkins left at 12 40 pm arrived at Hawkins at 2 40 pm left at 3 30 for Hamilton moored barge finished at 4 15 pm.

Tuesday April 29/02
At 7 am left Hamilton with refuse boat and No 4 barge. Left boat off Agers and took barge to Boaz Id thence back to Hamilton and at 11 am took barge ____ to coal barque with ballast then assisted refuse boat then took No 4 from James Wharf to moorings. Arr at 4 30 pm.

At 7 am left Hamilton for Agers thence to coal barque thence to ASW thence to I I thence to Hamilton thence to steamer thence took No 1 barge to Agers moorings. Arr at 6 30 pm.

Thursday May 1/02
At 7 am left Hamilton with workman to Agers thence took No3 & No5 barges to ireland I thence took on stores and at 11 40 left for Hawkins thence to Hinsens Isld with stores left at 1 25 pm for Ireland Id left I I at 3 55 pm towing No3 & No5 barge to Hamilton moorings dismissed at 5 pm.

Friday May 2/02
At 7 am left Hamilton went to Agers & took No1 barge to ireland Id arr 8 20 am & waited for barge to unload and load wood and at 4 pm towed barge to Hamilton moorings dismissed at 5 30 pm.

At 7 am left Hamilton & went to ireland Id took Naval barge to St Georges with stores left at 8 30 & arr at 11 am & left St George with No4 barge at 2 25 pm for Hamilton arr at moorings at 5 pm.

At 7 am left Hamilton with No1 barge for I I arr 8 am thence to Agers & shifted guards to Hamilton at 12 40 pm took bands(?) to Hawkins & uckers thence to I I for No1 barge left at 3 10 for Hamilton. Arr dismissed 5 pm.

Tuesday May 6/02
At 7 am left Hamilton with No1 & 3 barges left No1 at Hinsons Id went to St Georges with No3 left it their and brought Naval barge to Dock Yard thence to Hinsens and took No1 barge to Morgans to unload thence took it to moorings at Hamilton dismissed at 5 pm.

Wednesday May 7/02
At 6 am left Hamilton & went to St Geroge took in tow Targett arr 8 10 am left 10 10 am for I I arr at 12 20 pm and left I I for (?)Garactace ar 2 20 arr back to I I at 4 30 pm & took Targett to moorings at Magesens(?) of Sailors home thence to Boaz Id & towed No3 barge to Hamilton moorings. dismissed at 5 45 pm.

At 6 am left Hamilton & towed No1 barge to Id Id arr 7 10 am thence to Tuckers arr 755 took on Band and ____ and called at Hawkins for Band thence to Hamilton arr 10 am left Hamilton with Band returned them to Hawkins & Tuckers left Tuckers at 12 45 for Burnt House Wharf with troops arr at 1 35 left at 3 pm for Tuckers & Morgans arr 4 pm thence to I I took No 1 barge to moorings dismissed at 5 30pm.

At 7 am left Hamilton & went to Ports & done refuse duty to all the Islands left Hawkins at12 30 finished refuse at 1 15 thence to Hamilton arr 2 20 pm dismissed at 5 pm.

At 7 am left for I I with No2 barge went arr 8 15 thence took in ammunition left at 9 15 for Burnt House Wharf thence to Hamilton thence to Hinsens thence to As W at 12 20 went to I I brought No 2 barge to Hamilton at 4 pm left for St Georges on duty trip. dismissed.

At 8 30 am left St Georges at 9 30 arr Ducking Stool at 10 35 I I at 11am Boaz 1130 Hawkins, Hamilton 1145 at 230 left on duty trip for St George arr Boaz 315 I I at 4 thence to Ducking Stool thence to St George arr at 550 pm.

Friday May 16/02
At 6 am left St Georges for Tuckers arr 8am took on band and went to Hawkins thence to ASW arr 910 at 1010 went to Hinsens and Darrells with preserved meats thence back to ASW & took band to Tuckers then distributed the meat to all the Isld finished at Hawkins at 435 thence to Hinsons & towed No 2 barge to ASW. At 7am steam, at 11am left Hamilton for Tuckers Isld for band thence to Hawkins arr 1250 left at 115 for Tuckers order canceled arr Tuckers 2pm thence to Morgans for PofW order cancled took officer from Morgans to Tuckers thence to ASW. dismissed at 5pm.

At 7am left Hamilton took No2 barge to wharf at 11am went to Tuckers for band arr 1150 eft 1230 thence to Hawkins arr 1245 thence to Club Steps arr 1 30 thence to Morgans for P of W arr 205 left for Id Id for No1 barge arr 3 in Hamilton at 4pm thence to Club Steps for bands left at 730 for Hawkins Morgans & Tuckers thence to back ASW. arr 930pm.

Friday 23 May
At 6am left Hamilton with No1 barge for Evans Wharf thence to Tuckers for stores & fatige(?) party left at 950 am for Id Id at 1010 left for Tuckers with party at 225 arr 317 thence to Darrells thence to ASW arr 410. dismissed 5pm.

At 7am left Hamilton went to Agers took No2 barge to I I for loading and waited on barge and at 250 left with barge and at 250 left with barge for Hawkins left barge at Hawkins took stores to Tuckers thence to Ports thence to Darrells thence back to Hawkins & towed barge to moorings came to ASW at 6pm.

Thursday May 29/02
At 7am left Hamilton & took No3 barge to Hinsens thence back took No1 barge to James Wharf thence to Hinsens for No3 barge towed her to Hawkins with stores thence to ASW moorings arr 1025 thence to James Wharf and loaded cement on "Nona" alos loaded barge and left for Hawkins at 3pm arr 330 left with barge at 7 pm for moorings arr at 730pm.

At 630am left Hamilton took No1 barge to I I thence back to ASW arr 920 took No3 barge to I I arr 1110 waited to load barges and at 4pm left with both barges for Agers moorings arr 5pm thence to ASW. arr 530pm.

Wednesday June 4/02
At 7 am left Hamilton took workman to Agers thence towed No & 3 barge to SS Kays Blance(?) arr 8 20 am thence to Tuckers with stores to the different Islds at noon went to Kays thence back to ASW and towed barge No5 to Kays then shifted Naval barge with troop ship thence to I I & loaded lime juice on deck and brought No1 barge to Kago then took workman to Dockyard then to Kago and took No1 & No3 barge to moorings left Kago at 7 with workman finished at 8 30pm.

Thursday June 5/02
At 6am left Hamilton went to Agers put No3 barge to dock & took No1 to Kago brought workman from dock thence to ASW and took troops to Evans Wharf thence to ASW thence to Agers thence to ASW at 1230 left for Berts took on troops baggage thence to Morgans thence to Tuckers thence returned with troops to Morgans & Berts thence back to Agers took No5 barge in tow to Hamilton moorings. arr 530 pm.

Friday June 6/02
At 7 am left Hamilton & took No 5 & No 2 barge left No5 at Agers to be unloaded took No 2 to I I to load wood and waited on her left at 3pm for Darrells Isld thence to moorings arr 430 thence to Agers for No5 barge & working party returned them to Hamilton arr 530 pm.
