Welcome Researchers
This One Place Study (OPS) of Blue Town, Sheerness, Kent is my attempt to bring together a portrait of a town where my ancestors lived from the early 1800's to approx 1850's when they moved into Sheerness proper.
By researching the various census; newspapers and other available records, I hope to learn about their relationships to those who lived around them; to unearth the fascinating histories of health, wealth, poverty; hopefully some happy stories, and maybe, some surprises.
