Peter Jacob and his brother Lewis Jacob were both in the 29 ovi they caught
up to the regiment after the siege of atlanta, marched to the sea with sherman,
up
through the Carolinas and marched in the grand review in Washington d.c. .
Their father was Jacques Joseph Jacob who died in 1848 in seneca county and
their mother was Mary Barbara Boley(aka Marie Jesse) she remarried to lewis
Fosty and died in 1900 in Seneca County, ohio. This family was from Tintingy,
Belgium Mary barbara also had a brother who immigrated with her Joseph Boley,
who married Catherine Etchen (Etgen) daughter John and catherine Etchen (Etgen)
