Biography :

A railroad conductor.

Captain Comp. F. Wounded at the battle of Winchester May 24-25/1862, between Strasburg & Winchester, on leave 28 of May, 1862 to June 28, 1862. Engaged at Cedar Mountain 9 Aug. 1862. Died in hospital 24 Sept. 1862 of wound received at the battle of Antietam Sept. 17. Buried at Antietam National Cemetery. It was a member of his company who found the "lost orders".
