Jean Joseph Spirlet was their only boy.

** Marie Thérèse Robe married Gerard Joseph Collignon in February 1854. He died July 1864. Marie Thérèse Robe married again with James Thibessart on 20 January 1865. The marriage was not happy and in 1868 they divorced, but by a decret of the court on 16 July 1874, the parties were remarried. A few years afterward, 3 June 1879, they divorced again.

Biography :

Joseph Spirlet was transferred to Co. F. Reenlisted as veteran. He contracted chronic diarrhea at Victoria, Texas between July, and September 1865. August James says he was so feeble that it required the attention of some person and he nursed and helped Joseph Spirlet to get along and to get home.
Henry Devillez of 93rd Indiana saw him at Indianapolis in September 1865, the two regiments being discharged at the same time. Henry Devillez took him at soldier's home, put him in bed and take care of him that night, Joseph Spirlet being very weak and reduced in flesh.
