He was born at Moerkerke March 14 1827 son of Ambrosius & Isabella Theresiea Demeyere. Emigrated late 1840's to the US , he probably died about 1915 in Jennings Co, IN.
He was married 1st in Vernon, Jennings County, IN, March 31, 1866 to Marie Louise Robinett.
2nd marriage in Vernon , IN on August 5, 1874, to Mary M Smith (listed as Amy in 1910) it also says both being married 2. It means Smith is not her maiden name. that's why 2 stepchildren listed in 1880.
He had 5 children. One of them fought in The Spanish War.
