Thomas (Whitmore) Wetmore, born 1615, Hitchen, Hertsford, England, married (1) 11 Dec 1645, in Middle­town, Middlesex Co., Connecticut, Sarah Hall, born 1622, died 7 Dec 1664; married (2) Unknown; married (3) 1667, in Middletown, Connecticut, Mary Platt Atkinson, born 11 Nov 1629, at Bovington, Long Island, New York, died 17 Jun 1669, Middletown; married (4) 1673, Katherine Leet, who died 1693, Middletown, Middlesex Co., Connecticut and was buried there. Thomas died 11 Dec 1681, Middletown, Middlesex Co., Connecticut and was buried there. All of his 17 children were born at Middletown, Middlesex Co., Connecticut.

    12. Sarah Wetmore, born 27 Nov 1664, married 26 Nov 1689, in Middletown to John Bacon, born 14 Mar 1661, (son of Nathaniel Bacon and Ann Miller), died 4 Nov 1732, at Middletown and was buried there. Sarah also died at Middletown 14 Feb 1698 and was buried there.

    18. Francis (Whitmore) Wetmore, born 1625, Hitchen, Hertsford, England, married Isabel Park (dau. of Richard Park). Francis died 12 Oct 1685 at Middle­town, Middlesex Co., Connecticut and was buried there.  Children:

      1. Abigail Wetmore who married Samuel Wilcox.

  1. Samuel (Whittmore) Wetmore, born 10 Sep 1655, married 13 Dec 1687 in Middletown to Mary Bacon, born 7 Apr 1664 (dau. of Nathaniel Bacon and Ann Miller), who died 24 May 1709. Samuel died 12 Apr 1746 at Middleton and was buried there.  Their children, all born in Middletown, Middlesex Co., Connecticut:

    2. Samuel Wetmore, born 13 Mar 1692, married 23 Jun 1722, in Middletown, to Hanna Hubbard, born 21 Jul 1700, Middletown, who died 4 Jun 1794, at Middle­town, and was buried there. Samuel died 30 Dec 1773, at Middletown, and was buried there.

Beriah died 11 Apr 1756 in Middletown and was buried there.

    5. Hannah Wetmore born 2 May 1703, married at Mid­dle­town on 25 Feb 1724/25 to Ebenezer Hubbard. Hannah died 22 May 1761 at Middletown and was buried there.

    6. Bethia Wetmore born 12 Jun 1705, and died 6 Jan 1706 in Middletown and was buried there.

    7. Beriah Wetmore, Jr. born 23 Apr 1707, married 7 Feb 1737/38 in Middletown to Hannah Bowman. They were the parents of 9 children.

  1. Mehetable Wetmore, born 1 Jun 1669, married 12 Feb 1691/92 to Andrew Bacon, born 14 Jan 1666 (son of Nathaniel Bacon and Ann Miller), died 1 Jun 1723 at Middletown and was buried there.  Mehetable died 19 Jan 1732 at Middletown, Middlesex Co., Connecticut and was buried there. Their children:

    1. Abigail Bacon, baptized 8 Feb 1712, married Josiah Loomis, Jr., who was b. 11 Mar 1708/9 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.

3 Nov 1992 letter with computer printout from John M. Stewart of Port Republic, Md., whose source was re­search done by an aunt at the Mormon Church Archives in Salt Lake City, Utah, as well as another correspon­dent who had also done research at the Mormon Church Archives, and he said the two records “dovetailed beautifully.”
