The 1787 census for Greenbrier County does not include any Kirtleys. The Culpeper County 1787 Lists: Elijah, Francis, Jeremiah, Thomas, Jr., Thomas, sr. Capt. William and William Kirtley, Jr.
Dorothy Kirtley was born in 1776. She married Theodore Eddins 8th October 1793, Madison County Virginia, and did post 1849.
William Kirtley was born c. 1782. He married Mary Presley Thornton 31st. December 1802, Orange County Virginia. He married 2nd. Malinda Burris 15th May 1823, Muhlenburg County, Kentucky. He died in 1861.
Sarah Kirtley was born 22 February 1788, Culpeper County Virginia. She married Asa Walker Graves the 3rd. March 1815, Madison County Virginia. She died 9th March 1868, Madison County, Virginia.
