Lillian Eades, 83, a homemaker, died Sunday in a Valley hospital. Services for Mrs. Eades, an Ahwatukee resident, will be today in Tempe Mortuary, 405 E. Southern Ave., Tempe. She moved to Arizona 13 years ago from Chicago. She belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star in Chicago and was a member of the Lutheran Church. She is survived by a daughter, LaVerne Simmons. EAMES, Kay Montgomery

Kay Montgomery Eames, 52, a self-employed truck driver, died Dec. 17, 1982, at Humana Hospital Phoenix. Mr. Eames, of 4228 E. Oak, was born in Ogden, Utah, and moved to Phoenix 24 years ago. He was a former member of the 23rd Ward Elder's Quorum Presidency, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by his wife, Lillian; daughters, Carol L. Jamieson and Lola J. Huish; sons, Bryon K. and Rodney B.; three brothers; and five grandchildren. Services were Monday at the 23rd Ward, 3920 N. 44th Place. Memory Lawn Mortuary made arrangements. EATON, Charlie "Sam"

Mesa -- Charlie "Sam" Eaton, 83, a retired electrician and ranchere, died Nov. 26, 1982, in a Mesa hospital. He was a Texas native and moved to Arizona in 1917. He resided in Mesa. EATON, Joyce E.

Joyce E. Eaton, 75, who had been a saleswoman, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 1982, in a Valley hospital. Mass for Mrs. Eaton of 14418 Sarabande Way, Sun City, was today. She was born in Manitoba, Canada, and moved to Sun City in 1970 from Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin. She was a member of St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, and was active in the church guild. Glendale -- David Gerard Edwards, 22, died Dec. 23, 1982, from injuries suffered in an auto accident in Santa Fe, N.M. He was born in New Jersey and was a recent graduate of Colorado State University where he had been a member of the varsity rugby team. EDWARDS, Harold

Prescott -- Harold E. Edwards, 85, who worked in display advertising for The Arizona Republic beginning in 1917, died Dec. 27, 1982, in Yavapai Community Hospital. Mr. Edwards, of Prescott, was born in Moscow, Idaho, and first moved to Arizona in 1917. He resided in Arizona for 31 years and served in the Army during World War I. He had been a registered senior sanitation inspector for the state of Washington for 18 years before retiring in 1963. He was a member of World War I Army Barracks #2362, a life member of the National Association of Sanitarians, and past commodore of the Bremerton Yacht Club. He is survived by his wife, Maude; and two sisters. Services were in Memory Chapel. Prayer services was in Greenwood Memorial Park, 2300 W. Van Buren. She was a member of Black Canyon City Baptist Church, Black Canyon City Baptist Church, Black Canyon Filthy Five Civic Group, American Legion Auxiliary and Black Canyon Community Association. Sun City -- Vivian Harold Ellis, 79, a retired salesman with Eddie Price Typographic Service in Chicago, died Dec. 20, 1982, at his residence. Mr. Ellis, of 10636 Tumblewood Drive, was born in Harvey, Illinois, and moved to Arizona from Chicago nine years ago. He was a member of Sun City Shriners and American Association of Retired Persons. ELLSWORTH, Eugene

Chandler -- Services for Eugene Ellsworth, 60, a former Chandler city councilman and vice mayor, were at the Chandler Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mr. Ellsworth, 598 Toledo St., died Feb. 1, 1982, in the Phoenix Veterans hospital. He was born in Mesa and moved to Chandler in 1937. He owned Ellsworth Agencies, handling insurance and real estate and was a former director of the state board of Independent Insurance Agents. He helped organize the Chandler, Mesa and Tempe Insurance Agents Association and was its first president. Mr. Ellsworth was born in Mesa and attended Chandler High School. He attended Arizona State University. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and served on the Chandler City Council and founded the Chandler Club of Toastmasters International. He also was a member of the Chandler Rotary and Lions Clubs and was active in the Boys Scouts. Survivors include his wife, Cleora; children, Gina Knowles, Marc, Craig, Chris, Gary and Eric; a brother and eight grandchildren. Bueler Mortuary made arrangements.
