Leland E. "Lee" Aanonson, 64, a self-employed painter, died Dec. 8, 1982. He was born in Estherville, Iowa, and moved to Arizona four years ago from Colorado. Survived by his wife, Erlene; daughter, Mary E. Hunter; son, Mark L. of London, England; parents, Lewis A. Aanonson and Emma Johnson Aanonson; brothers, Eldon Aanonson, Estherville, IA, and Glenn Aanonson of Sill, CO; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. ABBOTT, Mabel Dolly

Mable Dolly Abbott, 78, a homemaker and 36-year resident of Phoenix, died Nov. 28, 1982. She was born in Michigan. Daughter, Ellen Hawkins; son, Ronald; two sisters; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Memory Lawn Mortuary. 12/1/1982.

ABEYTA, Abel A.

Abel A. Abeyta, 41, a former Phoenix resident, died Dec. 13, 1982, in Blytheville, Arkansas. He was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, and moved to Phoenix during his senior year of high school at Phoenix Union. He joined the Air Force in 1962, achieved the ran of technical sergeant and received several military awards. Wife, Christina; children, Amanda, Jennifer, Rebecca, and Abel, Jr.; parents Florintino and Martina Vasquez and two sisters. Mass was in St. Daniel's Catholic Church, Scottsdale. ABLOG, Joseph

Joseph Ablog, 74, of Phoenix, a waiter at the Arizona Biltmore died Dec. 7, 1982, at Phoenix General Hospital. Mr. Ablog was born in the Philippines and moved to Arizona 40 years ago. Survivors include his sons, Joe, Danny, Albert and Eddie; daughters, Sally Montoya, Rosie Abilio and Janet and Joana Ablog; three brothers and three sisters; 24 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. ABRIL, Manuel

Manuel Abril, 61, who had worked for the Phoenix Water Department for 35 years, died Thurs., Oct. 7, 1982, in a Valley hospital. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Post No. 41. He was also a Golden Gloves trainer and coach at Grant Park. Survivors include his wife, Christine; seven sons, David, Ruben, Rudy, Oscar, Joe, Manuel and George; five daughters, Rosely, Dorothy Diaz, Diana Valencia, Dorina Valencia and Theresa Finley; six brothers; a sister; his stepfather, Joe Bracomate; and 22 grandchildren. ACEDO, Henry, Jr.

Mesa -- Henry Duarte Acedo, Jr., 55, a former cook for the Air Force until retiring, and for the Little Sisters of the Poor, died Nov. 18, 1982. He was born in Tempe and returned to the Valley 16 years ago from Texas. He was a member of the American Legion. Wife, Marion; daughters, Marina, Robyn and Grace; sons, Henry, Timmy and Tommy; mother, Rose Duarte. Rosary was in Carr Memorial Chapel. Mass in Queen of Peace Catholic Church. ACEVEDO, Guillermo

Mass for Guillermo Acevedo, 78, who had been a self-employed produce trucker in Glendale for 45 years, will be said Friday in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 5614 W. Orange. Acevedo died Monday, Oct. 4, 1982, in his residence at 6842 N. W. Grand, Glendale. Survivors include his wife, Maria; three sons, Guillermo of Glendale, Felix of Phoenix and Frank in the U.S. Air Force; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Interment Resthaven Park Cemetery, Glendale. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1982.

ACUNA, Jesus B.

Mass for Jesus B. Acuna, 72, who lived in Arizona 64 years and had been a farm worker, will be in Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 3220 W. Greenway. Mr. Acuna, 15015 N. 27th Drive, was born in Mexico and died Jan. 4, 1982, in John C. Lincoln Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Margie FAJARDO, Lupe ACEVEDO, Helen DARR, Virginia DARR, Elizabeth SANDERS, John, Jesse, Mike, David and Alex; 26 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother. ADAIR, Ina Mae

Ina Mae Adair, 81, a 32-year Arizona resident, died Nov. 19, 1982, in Phoenix. A housewife, Mrs. Adair was a Sharon, Tennessee, native. She is survived by daughters, Martha Weddle, Cathy Ellett and Toni Freeland; sons, William and Raymond; two sisters; a brother; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. 11/22/1982.

ADAMS, Constance F.

Sun City -- Constance F. Adams, 73, a retired secretary with Prentice Hall Publishing Co. in New Jersey, died Dec. 16, 1982. She was born in New York City and moved to Sun City from New Jersey in 1976. She is survived by her son, Bruce, of Kentucky; daughter, Eleanor Hamilton of Scottsdale; sister, Eleanor Friend of Sun City West; and three grandchildren. ADAMS, Dorothy Lavina

Dorothy Lavina Adams, a housewife who was born in Jamestown, New York, and came to Arizona 22 years ago from California, will be Monday in Chapel of the Chimes, 7924 N. 59th Ave. Mrs. Adams of Glendale died Friday, Oct. 22, 1982, in a Phoenix hospital. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Wickenburg. Survivors include her two daughters, Gladys Starck (STARCH in the funeral announcement) and Audrey Rodewald; a son, George (Bob) Hertzog; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. ADAMS, Mildred G.,

Mildred G. Adams, 68, of 3522 W. Dunlap, died Dec. 22, 1982, at John C. Lincoln Hospital. Mrs. Adams was a native of Lowell, Massachusetts, and moved to Phoenix in 1969 from New Mexico. She was a member of Isabellas of Knights of Columbus and Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Raymond; sons, Peter J. of Munich, Germany and Raymond P. of Glendale; three sisters, Mabell of Lowell, Mass., Florence of Salem, N. H., and Joan of Dracut, Mass.three brothers, William and Robert Sheehan of Lowell, Massachusetts, and John Sheehan of Savannah, Georgia; and six grandchildren. Myrtle M. Adams, 82, was born in Pickneyville, Illinois, and came to Arizona 30 years ago. She died Jan. 28, 1982, in Good Samaritan Hospital. She was a member of Eastern Star, the Bethel United Methodist Church and the Phoenix Garden Club. Survivors include her husband, Ralph; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. M. Douglas Addy, 72, of Phoenix, was born in Chickasha, OK, and moved to Arizona in 1973. He died Nov. 30, 1982. He was founder and president of Senior Citizens Associates, a Mason, a member of the Moose Lodge, Elks, Phoenix Scottish Rite, El Zaribah Shrine and United Methodist Church. ADKINS, Gunda

Mesa -- Services for Gunda Adkins, 80, of 6047 E. Dallas, were at Chapel of Prayer Funeral Home. Mrs. Adkins, a homemaker, died Nov. 19, 1982, at Mesa Lutheran Hospital. AKERS, Elda

Tempe -- Elda Akers, 70, who attended Tempe Union High School and later owned two antique shops in Tempe, died Jan. 4, 1982, in Desert Samaritan Hospital. Mrs. Akers was born in Kahkakee, Illinois, and was brought to Arizona as a child. She is survived by daughters, Jane GATLIN, Joan WESTER and Marie RICHE; 11 grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers. Graveside services will be in Phoenix East Resthaven Park, 4310 E. Southern. Elma May Akron, 86, of 4602 N. 24th St., died Dec. 24, 1982. She was born in Middletown, Ohio, and moved to Arizona from Kentucky in 1971. Eliza "Jennie" Albersmeier, 97, a retired licensed practicing nurse who was also a homemaker, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 1982, in a valley hospital. Services for Mrs. Albersmeier of 12415 103rd Ave., Sun City, were Monday. She was born in Boone County, Indiana, and moved to Arizona in 1925. She was a member of the Washington Women's Club and the First Christian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Vredenburg; two grandsons; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Tuesday, 10/5/1982.

ALDERETTE, Elvira G.

McNary -- Mass for Elvira Alderette, 53, who died Jan. 3, 1982, in Good Samaritan Hospital, Phoenix, will be at St. Anthony's Catholic Church here. Mrs. Alderette, a Flagstaff native, lived here 33 years. ALDRIDGE, Clyde P.

Clyde P. Aldridge, 80, a retired State of Arizona maintenance employee, died Jan. 30, 1982, in Phoenix Veterans Hospital. He was born in Madisonville, Kentucky, and lived in Phoenix 52 years. He was a World War II Army veteran and did volunteer work for the Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include a son, William E.; stepson, William G. ALEXANDER, Lola Belle

Services for Lola Belle Alexander, 84, a homemaker, were in A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary. Mrs. Alexander, 4602 N. 24th St., died Wednesday, Sept 29, 1982, in a Valley hospital. She was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, and moved to Phoenix in 1956. She was a member of Asbury Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star. Charles A. Alicoate, 86, of Phoenix, a publisher and WWI Navy veteran, died Nov. 20, 1982. The New York City native moved to Phoenix from New Jersey 15 years ago. ALLEN, David Orlando

Services for David Orlando Allen, 29, 1745 W. Carroll, were in Sunland Mausoleum Chapel, Sun City. Mr. Allen was an auto mechanic and died Jan. 31, 1982, in a Phoenix hospital. Celeste Allsup, 89, former medical secretary, died Nov. 16, 1982, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Mrs. Allsup was born in Maine and moved to Arizona 65 years ago from Rhode Island. ALPINE, Mary Belle

Mary Belle Alpine, 74, a registered nurse, an X-ray technician and a medical secretary, died Thursday, Oct. 21, 1982, in a Valley medical center. Services for Mrs. Alpine, who ws born in Valpariaso, Indiana, and moved to Arizona from Jackson, Michigan, will be in the Mesa Sixth Ward Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 422 E. University Road, Mesa. She was a member of that church and the Relief Society. Survivors include her two sons, Dr. James R. and Fred Whitten; a daughter Cynthia Kreder; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother; and one sister. Saturday, Oct. 23, 1982.

ALVORD, Bertha I.

Bertha I. Alvord, 71, a retired Navy commander, died Dec. 1, 1982, at her home. Miss Alvord served 28 years on active duty with the Navy Nurse Corps and Medical Service Corps. She was a graduate of Henry Ford School of Nursing and Wayne State University, Detroit, and the Boston School of Occupational Therapy. She was born in Michigan and moved to Arizona 11 years ago from California. Survived by a brother, James I. Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran Church, Sun City. 12/4/1982.

AMROZOWICZ, Rev. John

Sun City -- Rev. John Amrozowicz , 68, a pastor of Assembly of God churches, died Dec. 8, 1982. He was born in Ludington, Michigan, and moved to Arizona six years ago. He had pastored churches in Coleman, Peck, Schoolcraft and Dundee, MI, and in Chesterton, IN. He also was an administrator for the Milan, MI, junior high school. He taught at Central Bible College in Detroit and the Western Bible Institute of Arizona. Survived by his wife, Hazel; son, G. Thomas, and five grandchildren. Services were at Evangel Church of Sun City. 12/10/1982.

Belle Anatole, 75, died Dec. 26, 1982, at Beatitudes Care Center. She was born in Pittsburgh and moved to Arizona 13 years ago. Son, Ronald; three brothers; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Graveside services were at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. 12/27/1982.

ANDERSEN, Glen H.

Glen H. Andersen, 64, co-owner of LeSueur's Men's Store for 28 years and a former member of the Mesa Planning and Zoning Board, died at his home Nov. 20, 1982. Mr. Andersen was a WWII Army pilot. Survivors include his wife, Royene; son, Richard; daughters, Shirlene Huber, Karen Phillips, Marsha Standage, Cheri Harris, and Nanette Miller; mother, Carrie S.
