Dr. Donald F. Rodawig, 75, who worked for the Arizona State University health department six years after coming to Arizona in 1970, died Sept. 16, 1980, while vacationing in Iowa. Dr. Rodawig, a surgeon, came here from Iowa where he was owner and developer of the Spirit Lake Hospital in 1935 and later helped develop Dickinson County Hospital He graduated from the University of Iowa Medical School and had residencies in Toledo, OH, and the University of Vienna, Austria. He served in World War II. Wife, Mary; children, Susan Reams, Sandra Rohrer, Dr. Don Jr., and William; and 16 grandchildren. Memorial services were in Spirit Lake, Iowa.
