Mesa -- Anthony Nalli, 66, who came here six years ago from Michigan, died Jan 22, 1980. He was a retired automotive glass repairman. Survived by his wife, Remegia; children, Sheila Benham; Betty Jane and Arthur; seven grandchildren; a sister and a brother. 24 January 1980.

NAVARRETTE, Liandra

27 Feb 1908 - 30 Sep 1980
Services for Liandra Navarrette, 72, who came to the Valley in 1954 from New Mexico and died Sept. 30, 1980, in Phoenix General Hospital, were in Universal Sunset Chapel, 7007 S. Central. Mrs. Navarrette, 9344 S. Calle Mara Villa, Guadalupe, is survived by her husband, Juan; children, Hortencia Marquez, Alicia Valles, Senaida Garcia, Brigida, Demetrio, Richard, Juan, David Steve and Pete, and three brothers. Interment Tempe Double Butte Cemetery. The Arizona Republic Saturday, October 4, 1980.

NELLESSEN, Arthur J.

Arthur J. Nellessen, 70, a brick mason who came to Arizona 43 years ago from Illinois, died March 24, 1980, in his home. Mr. Nellessen attended the Cathedral of Sts. Simon & Jude. Survivors include his children, Sharon Stofer, Golden, CO, Karen Stewart and Vicki, both of Phoenix, Michael and Leonard; 14 grandchildren; four sisters, Elsie Pritchard, Libertyville, IL, Irene Walters, Watsonville, CA, Ruth Ingoglie and Mary Andersen, both of Mundelien, IL; and two brothers, Bernard Nellessen, Glenview IL, and Francis Nellessen, Phoenix. Veterans Memorial Cemetery. 3/26/1980.

NELSON, Bernard

Bernard Nelson, 34, died Jan. 22, 1980, in Phoenix Indian Hospital. He was a farm worker. Parents, Zepherine and Mabel Nelson, survive. Rosary and Mass were in St. Francis Catholic Church on the Salt River Indian Reservation. 1/25/1980.

NELSON, Linzy

Linzy Nelson, 84, a retired coal miner who moved here in 1961 from West Virginia, died March 12, 1980. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; children, Reba Tomblin and Troy; stepchildren, Eunice Malachesen, Nancy Malachesen, Geneva Warden, Art and Henry Harmon, and 11 grandchildren. 3/14/1980.

NEWINGHAM, Charles C.

10 March 1913 - 24 March 1980
Globe -- Charles C. Newingham, 67, a Missouri native, died March 24, 1980. He moved to Globe in 1920 and was a retired truck driver. Survivors include four sons, John Pettypool, Eddie, Donnie and Charles; daughters, Irma Warner, Margie Lewis, Mary Altenreid and Rosie; brothers, sisters, and grandchildren. 3/28/1980.

NEWMAN, Walter L.

Chandler -- Services for Walter L. Newman, 68, who died March 11, 1980, in Desert Samaritan Hospital, will be today in Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive. Mr. Newman, 9107 W. Olive Lane, Sun Lakes, had been a sheet metal foreman for a cabinet company in Westchester, Pennsylvania. He lived here 18 months. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; children, Beverly Padgett and Alfred; three grandchildren and four sisters. 3/13/1980.
