KAEGI, Ernest Jacob

Services for Ernest Jacob Kaegi, 59, who had been a free lance photographer 35 years until he became ill, were in Sunnyside Mortuary, 614 E. Townley. Mr. Kaegi, 846 N. 19th Ave., came to the Valley in 1950 from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and died Oct. 8, 1980, in Phoenix Veterans Hospital. He was a member of the American Legion. Surviving are his wife, Catherine; daughter, Sharon Noble; step-daughter, Patricia Johnson; two grandchildren and a sister. Published in The Arizona Republic Saturday, Oct. 11, 1980.

KANCHINKO, Nicholas

Nicholas Kanchinko, survived by wife, Stephanie; son, Allen; brother, Francis Greiner of Michigan; sisters, Mrs. Alice Ministrelli of Michigan and Mrs. Annie Bobby of CA; one grandchild. Interment Roseville, MI. 3/17/1980.

KARHU, Edward Thomas

Glendale -- Edward Thomas Karhu, 51, a steel fabricator who died March 12, 1980, came here in 1972 from Ohio where he was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Ashtabula. Surviving are his wife, Lois; children, Dixie Lee and Edward. 3/14/1980.

KEALEY, Robert C.

Robert C. Kealey, 66, came here in 1970 from MIssouri and died Oct. 12, 1980. He retired as a lieutenant colonel after 28 years in the Army. Wife, Marie; sons Keith of Mesa and Kevin of Omaha, Nebraska; daughters, Kathleen and Karen; brother, John Kealey; V. Kealey of Naples, Florida; sisters, Mrs. Margaret Spears of Butler, PA; Mrs. Mildred Mock of Washington, D. C. Interment VA Cemetery in Cave Creek. 10/15/1980.

Castle Butte -- Robert Kee, 71, died March 22, 1980, at Winslow Memorial Hospital. Mr. Kee was a member of the Navajo Indian Tribe and lived his life in the Castle Butte area. He was a retired laborer. Services were held at Scott Chapel in Winslow. 3/29/1980.

Clem W. Kelly, 64, who came here in 1961 from Spokane, Washington, died March 15, 1980. Mr. Kelly had been an accountant for the city of Phoenix until retiring in 1978. San Carlos -- Services for Nona Kenton, 97, who died Oct. 2, 1980, at the San Carlos Indian Hospital here, were at the Grace Lutheran Church. Mrs. Kenton, a San Carlos native, was a member of the San Carlos Apache Indian Tribe. Survivors include sons, Roy, Charlie and Joseph; 17 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Scottsdale -- Eleanore Kimball, 78, who came here in 1962 from Lincoln, Nebraska, and was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority and the Junior League, died Oct. 4, 1980, in Scottsdale Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Kimball, 4800 N. 66th St., is survived by children, Mrs. William Cartmell and William T.; a brother and five grandchildren. Services will be in Lincoln, Messinger Mortuary announced. Tempe -- Memorial services for Arthur F. King, 94, a retired electrical worker who died Oct. 7, 1980, in a Tempe nursing home, were in Carr Mortuary, 26 E. Fifth St. Mr. King came here in 1976 and lived with a niece, Aletha Ashley, 2110 S. Mill. He worked until 1963 for the Electrical Panel Board Co. of Rochester, N.Y. He was a Mason. Michael Doyle Kirkpatrick, 31, a journalism and English teacher at the Dilicon Boarding School on the Navajo Indian Reservation, died Sept. 29, 1980, of auto accident injuries near Winslow. He was a native of California and came to Arizona in 1960 from Illinois. He graduated from Northern Arizona University and was a minister of music at Victory Chapel. KLIPPEL, Ruth H.

Ruth H. Klippel, 78, of Sun City, died Jan. 23, 1980. Mrs. Klippel moved here in 1974 from Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She was a member of the Desert Episcopal Church, Burns & Hutton Dr., and Palmbrook Country Club. Her sister, Florence Melcher, survives. 26 January 1980.

She is survived by her daughters, Betty Mae Cockrell of Ohio, Virginia Rose Kelly, Palm Springs, CA, and Ester Lucille Sutfin, Athens, MI; 16 grandchildren. Services at Lundberg Mortuary, Youngtown. Tempe -- Stephen E. Kovach, Jr., 79, was born in Budapest, Hungary, and came here in 1975 from Pittsburgh where he retired as a home builder. He died March 21, 1980. Mr. Kovach graduated from Carnegie Institute of Technology in Pittsburgh and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He was a past president of Metropolitan Home Builders of Allegany Count, PA, and was a member of Society of American Military Engineers and American Legion. He was a veteran of World War II. Wife, Wilma; son, Stephen E. Kovach, III; a brother; four grandchildren. Services and burial were in Pittsburgh. 3/24/1980.

Services for Edna Krogman, 87, who came here in 1958 from Illinois and was a member of the First Baptist Church, will be today in Paradise Chapel, 3934 E. Indian School. Mrs. Krogman, 7550 N. 16th St., died Oct. 6, 1980, in American Baptists Orangewood Estates. She was born in Chicago and is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Long, and a grandchild.
