Services for Dr. Francisco Galindo, 57, who died Oct. 21, 1979, in Gomez Palacio at Durango, were in Durango, Mexico. Dr. Francisco served his internship at Phoenix Memorial Hospital. Sun City -- Services for Mabel B. Gans, 73, who died Oct. 12, 1979, in her residence were in United Church of Sun City. She was born in Joplin, Missouri, and came to Arizona 10 years ago from Bangkok, Thailand. She was a member of Boswell Hospital Auxiliary and Lapidary and Rock Hound Club. GARCIA, John D.

Rosary and Mass for John D. Garcia, 38, was in St. Matthews Catholic Church, 2038 W. Van Buren. Mr. Garcia died Oct. 17, 1979, in a Phoenix hospital. He moved to Phoenix in 1953 where he was a member of the Arizona National Guard and worked for AiResearch. Survivors include his daughters, Veronica and Michella; father, Joe S. GARCIA, Remigio R.

Surprise -- Rosary for Remigio R. Garcia, 67, who died Oct. 13, 1979, in Valley View Community Hospital, Youngtown, were in Menke Funeral Home. Mass was in St. Therese Catholic Church, El Mirage. He came here in 1956 from Toledo, Ohio, and had been a farm laborer. Mr. Garcia is survived by his wife, Rosa; children, Rosa L. Bartsch, Lucia Abeytia, Paul and Joseph; a sister; three brothers and five grandchildren. The AZ Republic 15 Oct 1979.

GARMOND, Stella Mae

Mesa -- Stella Mae Garmond, 73, a member of the Catholic Church of the Resurrection in Tempe and Third Order of St. Francis, died Oct. 5, 1979, in Desert Samaritan Hospital. Mrs. Garmond had retired as a medical secretary after 25 years of Civil Service employment. Survivors include her daughter, Beverly Flores; a sister; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild. GAROTE, Edward Paul

Scottsdale -- Services for Edward Paul Garote, 52, who had owned a trucking company and sold real estate in the United States and Mexico, were in Messinger Mortuary. Mr. Garote, formerly of Scottsdale, moved to Mexico in 1975 and died Oct. 9, 1979, in Obregon, Sonora. Surviving are his wife, Marta; children, Rhonda, Robert, Richard and Eddie; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Garote; a sister and four brothers. The AZ Republic 15 Oct. 1979.

GASPAR, Nicholas W.

Mass for Nicholas W. Gaspar, 94, a retired bookkeeper and electrician who died Oct. 18, 1979, in St. Joseph's Hospital, were in St. Francis Xavier Church. Mr. Gaspar moved here in 1973 from Rock Valley, Iowa. He was a member of Sheldon< iowa, Council Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann; a sister and a brother. GAYDOSH, John

Sun City -- Rosary for John T. Gaydosh, 70, was in Menke Funeral Home, 12420 N. 103rd Ave. Mass was in St. Joachim Church, 11625 111th Ave. Mr. Gaydosh, 10925 W. Cherry Hills Drive, moved here in 1977 from New Britain, Connecticut, and died Oct. 30, 1979, in Good Samaritan Hospital. He retired after 33 years with the U. S. Postal Service. He originated the Classic Mens League of Lakeview Bowling Lanes, was a member of Oakmont and Sun Dial Mens clubs and National Letter Carriers Association. Surviving are his wife, Antoinette; children, Anita Bouffard, John, Jr., Robert, Bernard and Boniface; two brothers, 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Gerwitz, a California native, moved to Holbrook in 1935. He owned and operated Vic's Equipment Co. in Chambers. Sun City -- Anthony J. Gianuso, 71, of 19826 Pine Springs Drive, who came to Sun City in 1978 from Webster, N. Y., died Oct. 5, 1979, in Boswell Memorial Hospital. Mr. Gianuso, survived by his wife, Mary, was a retired dry cleaning presser. He was a member of the American Italian Club of Sun City and a Moose Lodge. GIBBONS, Lola N.

Mesa -- Services for Lola N. Gibbons, 73, who came here in 1936 from St. Louis, Missouri, and had been a custodian for Mesa schools, were in Meldrum Mortuary. Mrs. Gibbons died Oct. 8, 1979, in Chula Vista Nursing Home. Her two sisters survive. Interment in Mesa. The AZ Republic Oct. 11, 1979.

GIBSON, Fred Lewis

Fred Lewis Gibson, 51, who had retired as a photographer after 21 years in the Air Force, died Oct. 24, 1979, in his home of an illness. Mr. Gibson, 321 S. Sixth Ave., Avondale, moved to Arizona in 1965 from California. He is survived by his children, Brenda Johnson, Donald W., Charles C., Gerald L., Kevin T., and Curtis R.; and eight grandchildren. GILLIAM, Ellen

Services for Ellen Gilliam, 77, were in Chandler United Methodist Church, Williams Field Rd. and California St. Mrs. Gilliam died Oct. 24, 1979, in Phoenix General Hospital. She retired to the Valley 17 years ago from Casper, Wyoming, where she was a supervisor for Mountain States Telephone Co. She was a 50-year member of the Eastern Star Lodge in Casper. Surviving are her husband, Larry T.; stepson, Francis Gilliam; and three brothers. 25 Oct 1979

Buckeye -- Services for Dennis Gillock, 20, who died Sept. 30, 1979, in an automobile accident near here, were at Buckeye Funeral Home Chapel.
