Services for Ora Lee Dale, 46, who moved here 29 years ago from Texas and died Sept. 29, 1979, in a Phoenix hospital, were in Webber & Sons Mortuary. Mrs. Dale, 912D S. 10.. Ave., is survived by her children, Dorothy J... Chambers, Dorothy J... Olinda, Beatrice, R... Lee, Robert Lewis, Arthur, David and Jimmy Dale; two sisters; two brothers; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Interment Double Butte Cemetery. The Arizona Republic Oct. 6, 1979.

DANIEL, Naomi June

Tolleson -- Services for Naomi June Daniel, 57, who came to Arizona 54 years ago from New Mexico, were in Tolleson Assembly of God Church, 10 S. 93rd Ave. Mrs. Daniel, 204 S. 93rd Ave., died Oct. 11, 1979, in a Phoenix hospital. Survivors include her husband, Charlie; daughter, Sue Morgan; a sister and two brothers; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Cannon Funeral Home handled arrangements. DANIELS, Charles H.

Payson -- Services for Charles H. Daniels, 78, who died Oct. 9, 1979, in Pine, were at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Pine. Mr. Daniels came to Arizona in 1950 from Indianapolis and was a hay broker for the past 27 years. He moved to Pine from Mesa last July. He was a charter member of the Arizona Pony Association. He is survived by his wife, Ina; a daughter, Ester Woolford; a sister a brother and two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation was at Payson Funeral Home Chapel. DANIELS, Jon A.

Safford -- Graveside services for Jon A. Daniels, 21, who died Oct. 22, 1979, in the Mount Graham Community Hospital, were Saturday, Oct. 27, 1979, at the Safford City Cemetery. Mr. Daniels, an Idaho native, moved to Safford in 1975. He was a cement mason. Survivors include his father, James; his mother, Mrs. Charles Hopkins; a brother; four sisters; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer H. Anderson. 25 Oct 1979.

DARBY, Clara S.

Payson -- Clara S. Darby, 91, daughter of a pioneer Arizona ranching family, died Oct. 19, 1979, in a Phoenix hospital. She was born in 1888 on the Packard Ranch in Green Back Valley. She moved here in 1962 from Arroyo Grande, California, and lived at 103 E. Phoenix Ave. Survivors include her children, Juanita West, Winston and Wayne; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. DARROW, Vaughn T.

Vaughn T. Darrow, 73, of 10051 N. 31st Place, a home building contractor who came to Phoenix in 1927 from his native Nebraska, died Oct. 11, 1979, in Phoenix Baptist Hospital. He was a member of Elks B.P.O.E. 335 and past president of Phoenix Home Builders. Survivors include his wife, Mabel, and children, Carol Harr and Montgomery. Services were in A. L. DAVIS, Charles Robert

Surprise -- Charles Robert Davis, 91, of 15427 Greasewood, died Oct. 19, 1979, from injuries suffered in a pedestrian-automobile accident at U. S. 60 and Santa Fe in El Mirage. Mr. Davis, a World War I veteran, came to Arizona 50 years ago from Nevada. He had been an engineer for Santa Fe and Southern Pacific railways. Services at Floral Lakes Chapel, El Mirage. DAVIS, George W.

Services for George William Davis, 80, who moved here 28 years ago from New Jersey and died Oct. 31, 1979, in a Phoenix hospital, were in Green Acres Mortuary 401 N. Hayden, Scottsdale. Mr. Davis, 2826 N. 34th St., served with the British Army in World War I. He is survived by his wife, Ethel; daughter, Marilyn A. Pollard; two grandchildren and a brother. DAVIS, Jewel

Jewel Frances Davis, 63, of Congress, died Sunday this week in the Phoenix Baptist Hospital. She was born in Alabama and was a housewife. She had lived in Arizona seven years. Surviving are her husband, James; two sons, James Jr., of California, and Don of Prescott, and a daughter, Mary Frances Scruggs of Escondido, Calif. Roy E. Davison, 90, a retired truck driver for Meadow Gold Milk Co. of Tulsa, OK, died Oct. 20, 1979, in Maricopa County Hospital. He was a World War I veteran and lived in Phoenix since 1960. Survivors include his wife, Laura; children, Virginia BORUP, Genevieve WILT and Roy, Jr.; stepdaughter, Catherine HOWELL; three grandchildren and a great-grandson. DEAN, George

Services for George Dean, 59, a World War II Marine Corps veteran who was a maintenance employee for Washington School District, was in Grimshaw Chapel, 710 W. Bethany Home. Mr. Dean, 6540 N. Black Canyon, died Oct. 28, 1979, in his home. He moved here in 1962 from Texas. Surviving are his wife, Berda; children, susan Ann Gunter, Sandra Jean Adlerberg, Richard and Robert L.; a grandchild; two brothers and a sister. The Arizona Republic Wed., October 31, 1979.

DEAN, Richard

Funeral services for Richard Thomas Dean, pilot of the light aircraft which crashed Jan. 18, 1979, about 20 miles south of Wickenburg in the desert, were last week in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Kirkland. Mr. Dean was an elder in that church. He and three passengers were enroute to work at the Palo Verde nuclear generating plant near Buckeye. Stormy weather conditions prevailed at the time. Interment was in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Mr. Dean lived in Walnut Grove. He was born 40 years ago in New Mexico and had been a resident in Arizona for 32 years. He was a steam fitter and had worked all over the state of Arizona at his trade. At the time of death, he was employed by Bechtel Corp. as general foreman at the nuclear generating plant. Mr. Dean was a member of El Zaribah Shrine Temple, Phoenix and a charter member of the Elks Club, Page. Survivors are his widow, Kay Ester; three daughters, Larella Linda, Luella Lena and Lorana Lea all of Walnut Grove; a brother, Robert W. Dean of Yuma; two sisters, Onita Elmore of Biloxi, Miss., and Patricia Jacobson of Puyallup, Wash., his mother, Margie helper of Forrest, Miss., and father, William C. Dean of Anderson, Mo. Snowflake -- Services for Anna F. Decker, 76, who died Oct. 29, 1979, at her home here, were at the SNowflake Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mrs. Decker, a Salt Lake City native, moved to Snowflake in 1928. She was a retired elementary school teacher. Survivors include her husband, Lorenzo; four sons, Daniel, Fred, David and Jared; three daughters, Janet Wallace, Patricia Maylan and Catherine Day; two brothers; two sisters; and 28 grandchildren. Whiteriver -- Services for Jessie Declay, 76, who died Sunday, Oct. 7, 1979, in Monterey Nursing Center in Scottsdale, were at Miracle Church in Canyon Day. DEGERICK, Claire

Sedona -- Claire Degerick, 88, a retired French and piano teacher who lived on Brewer Road, died Oct. 27, 1979, in a Phoenix nursing home. She moved to Arizona in 1954 from New Jersey and lived here since 1967. Surviving are her daughter, Claire Lane; a sister and three grandchildren. Mass at St. Johns Vianney Church, Sedona. DeGROOT, Leita Ella

Chandler -- Services for Leita Ella DeGroot, 30, who died July 2, 1979, in Yavapai Hospital after she was thrown in a horse-training accident at Prescott Downs, were in First Christian Church, 800 W. Galveston. Mrs. DeGroot was born in Mesa and graduated from Chandler High School. She is survived by husband, Mitch; son, Samuel Josh; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Ellis; and a brother. DEHMER, Rosine V.

Mass for Rosine V. Dehmer, 75, who moved here in 1944 from Minnesota and died Oct. 8, 1979, and died in a private home on north 17th Avenue, will be 930 a.m. Thursday in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 3140 N. 51st Ave. Mrs. Dehmer, 5111 N. 40th St., is survived by her sons, Ronald and Kenneth; two sisters and two brothers.
