Sun City -- Memorial mass for Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gagliano, both 54, of 9510 Pleasant Valley, Sun City, will be at St. Clement Catholic Church. The Gaglianos were killed in an auto accident June 20, 1978, near Burlington, New Jersey. They were buried Sunday in their native New York. Survivors include a son, Joseph; a brother and sister. Scottsdale -- Services for Nita Gale, 78, who died April 18, 1978, in Maricopa County Hospital, will be Friday in Messinger Mortuary CHapel, 7601 E. Indian School Road. Miss Gale, 6801 E. Camelback Road, studied piano, violin, voice, and drama in the Dayton, Ohio, Conservatory of Music and King's School of Oratory. She studied music in New York and became the assistant of Romano Romani, a position she held several years. She was featured in recitals in New York and during World War II traveled England singing for the U. S. Armed Services. She was on the music faculty at Arizona State University from 1949 to 1955 then returned to New York to become a member of the Community Opera Company. She returned to Arizona nine years ago. Memorial services for Pauline Reardan Ganz, who lived in Phoenix since 1919 and died June 25, 1978, in Doctors Hospital, were in Franciscan Renewal Center, 5802 E. Lincoln Drive. Mrs. Ganz, 3020 N. 36th St., had been president of Good Shepherd Guild, Girl Scout Council and a member of the Church of St. Francis Sodality and Friendly House. Joseph E. "Gene" Garrity, 42, came to Phoenix 36 years ago from Chicago and died June 26, 1978, of motorcycle-car accident injuries. Mr. Garrity graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1953, Arizona State University in 1957, and received his master's in education at ASU in 1975. He was business manager for Murphy School District 21. Jack D. Gaston, 65, of Glendale, died April 23, 1978. He was a retired pastor of Sunnyslope Presbyterian Church. He moved to Arizon afrom New York 24 years ago and was a graduate of Alabama University and Union Theological Seminary. He was pastor in Liberty, N.Y., moderator of Hudson Presbytery in New York, and chaplain at John C. Lincoln Hospital and Desert Mission here.
