Amanda Baker, 82, 2901 E. Broadway, lived here 51 years and died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 1976, in a Phoenix hospital. Survivors include three nephews and two nieces. Services in First Institutional Baptist Church, 1141 E. JEfferson. 10 January 1976.

BANICK, Alfred

Prescott -- A 72-yearold Prescott Valley man committed suicide Tuesday, Jan. 13, 1976, by hanging himself with a clothesline, Yavapai County officials said. Alfred Banick died of strangulation, Dr. Philip Keen, County Pathologist said Wednesday. Yavapai County Sheriff's Lt. BYron Langdell said Bankick's body was discovered by a neighbor. Langdell said Banick attached the clothesline to a railing in his trailer home. No note was left, but Langdell said Banick had been despondent because of family problems. 1/15/1976.

Scottsdale -- Evelyn L. Barnes, 77, died Friday, Jan. 9, 1976. Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Helen DURGARIAN, Scottsdale, and Mrs. Edith KLEIN, Brookfield, Illinois, and four grandchildren. Services in Scottsdale Christian Church, 7934 E. Oak St. 1/12/1976.

BARRY, Nina G.

Nina G. Barry, 78, who moved here in 1960 from Kansas City, died Friday, Feb. 13, 1976, in John C. Lincoln Hospital. She is survived by children, Eva Magee, Kansas City, Missouri; and Everett L. Wilson, Lone Jack, Missouri; four sisters, Stella Garrish and Hannah Dimmill, both of Atchison, Kansas; Cora Mae David, Phoenix; Mildred Morris, Rogers, Arkansas; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. BASSETT, Will O.

Will O. Bassett, 91, a retired employe of a retail coal and building supply business, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 1976. He came to Phoenix 28 years ago. Survived by wife Delia; son, Weston of Kokomo, Indiana, and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Entombment Greenwood. 1/12/1976.

BAXTER, Charles E.

BAYLESS, Estella

Services for Estella M. Bayless, 86, who came here in 1909 and was a member of the choir and Womens Society for Christian Service at First United Methodist Church, were in A. L. Moore & Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams. Mrs. Bayless, 1712 W. Glendale, an early president of the Osborn Womens Club, was a member of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile and Phoenix Womens Club. She died Sunday in Beatitudes Care Center. Survivors include children, Irma B. Miller, Lynn M. and Robert L.; a sister; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Norman E. Blair, 70, came here 29 years ago and died Sun., Feb. 8, 1976, in Doctors Hospital. He was a partner in Lescher & Mahoney, Inc., Architects, Engineers & Planners. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge 634, Scottish Rite, El Zaribah Shrine, and Penn State Alumni.
