Scottsdale -- Elton Turner Fair, 84, died Tuesday, June 11, 1974, in Scottsdale. He was a Mason and a Shriner, a member of the Rotary, Denver Athletic Club, Cherry Hills and Aviation Country Clubs. He had been in the machinery business in Denver until retiring at age 70. Wife, Ruth E.; sons, Elton, Jr., Robert, Thomas and Richard; and nine grandchildren. Messinger Mortuary. 6/13/1974.

FATTALEH, Crystol Babcock

Crystol Babcock Fattaleh, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away March 29th, 2003. She was born July 6th, 1949, a proud fourth generation Phoenician and a graduate of North High School. Crystol was loved by her son Peter Gray Fattaleh, sisters Bernita, Diana, and Felicia. And Dearly loved by her stepchildren Kim, Stacy, Tammy, Michael, Kip, Daivd, Nena, and Granddaughter Reegan along with former husband John B. Fattaleh. Mass for Michael B. Fattaleh, 85, was in St. George Orthodox Church, 4502 E. Indian School. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Prayer services were Monday in Arcadia funeral Home. Mr. Fattaleh, of 1802 E. Weldon, died Sunday, June 30, 1974, at his home. He owned Your Market Basket Grocery at 19th Street and Clarendon until retiring 15 years ago. He was a charter member of the Lebanon Syrian American Club. Survivors include his wife, Edna; children, Basil and Dr. John B. Fattaleh and Mrs. Kathryn Romley; a brother, Harry; sisters, Mrs. Maria Tannous, Mrs. Zahia Tannous, Mrs. Lydia Azar and Mrs. Wasiala Syriani; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. John William Faultner, 94, who had lived in Phoenix from 1937 to 1965, died Friday, July 5, 1974, in Boulder City, nevada. FINSTERWALD, Maude MULLAY

Cave Creek -- Maude Mullay Finsterwald, 66, died in March in San Antonio, Texas, it was recently learned. Mrs. Finsterwald came to Arizona from New York after the death of her husband, Dr. Charles Frederick Finsterwald. Her volunteer work here included helping establish the Dorothy Smith Library. She shared her home with Miss Smith while working to establish the branch of the Maricopa County Lirbary. Survivors include her son, Dr. James F. Finsterwald, a medical consultant at Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio. 6/20/1974.

Frieda Margaret Florian, 83, died Sunday, June 2, 1974, in a Tucson nursing home. Mrs. Florian came to Phoenix as a bride in 1913 and was a widow of Ivey A. Florian, a former Phoenix businessman. Mesa -- Helen Aiken French, 82, a retired college professor, died Sunday, July 14, 1974, in Mesa Lutheran Hospital. She was named Woman of the Year in 1968 by the Saguaro Business & Professional Womens Club and was credited with founding the Arizona Boys Ranch here. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and had been an assistant professor of education 12 years at Arizona State University. She was born in Pennsylvania and graduated from Southwestern State College and Geneva College and did graduate work at the University of Pittsburgh, Columbia University and ASU. FROGGE, William Jennings

William Jennings Frogge, 73, died Wednesday, June 13, 1974, in Phoenix Veterans Hospital. He had been in the gasoline and oile business many years in California and Arizona. He had been a general manager for Seaside Oil Co. from 1930 to 1945, was a real estate representative for Humble Oil * Refining Co. from 1959 to 1966, was a general manager with the Texas Independent Oil Co. and also was general manager for United Stations until retiring in 1972.
