WALKER, Mrs. Belle

Belle Walker, 78, died Friday, March 6, 1970, in Phoenix General Hospital. She was born in Arkansas and came to Phoenix in 1943 from Texas. Survivors include one son, Fred WALKER of Phoenix; two daughters, Mrs. Avis FOWLER of Phoenix and Juanita OVERLEY of San Jose, CA; and 16 grandchildren and 70 great-grandchildren. WALKER, Bobby Ray

Kingman -- Bobby Ray Walker, 43, a deputy sheriff and minister here, died Wed., Dec. 31, 1969, of a heart attack after he was involved in a scuffle with a teen-ager. He and another deputy stopped two cars late Tuesday night north of Kingman for investigation of drunken driving. The scuffle occurred while the deputies were questioning the occupants of the car. He was taken to Mohave General Hospital where he died. Mr. Walker was the pastor of Emanuel Baptist Church. Wife, Bessie; daughter, Treleta; mother, Mrs. Annie WALKER of Novato, CA.; two sisters and a brother out of state. Services were at St. John's United Methodist Church. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery. 1/4/1970.

WALSH, Joseph F.

Joseph F. Walsh, 51, a former maintenance man in New York City, died Fri., Feb 27, 1970, in Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born in Newark, N.J. and came here six years ago. He was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen WALSH of Phoenix and a sister, Margaret FLETCHER of Phoenix. Greenwood Memorial Park. 3/2/1970.

WALTHERS, John

Globe -- John Walthers, 64, died Tues., March 3, 1970, in his home. He was born and raised in Globe and was a radio repairman for Sears, Roebuck & Co. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Margaret TERMAIN of Globe and a sister and brother out of state; brother, Henry, of Mesa. Burial (gravestone) in Globe Cemetery. 3/5/1970.

WANDRYCH, Laura

Scottsdale -- Laura Wandrych, 73, who moved here 10 years ago from her native Milwaukee, died Sat., Dec. 12, 1970, in Scottsdale Hospital. She was a member of the Christian Mothers of St. Anthony. Survivors include her husband, Stanley; two sons, Richard of Scottsdale and Stanley K. of Milwaukee; two daughters, Mrs. Richard C. Gormley of Phoenix and Mrs. Phillis Brocki of Milwaukee; a brother out of state and five grandchildren. Mass was in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Burial in St. Francis Cemetery. 12/14/1970.

WARRINGTON, Kenneth E.

Kenneth Warrington, 3, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred E. WARRINGTON, died Fri., Jan. 2, 1970, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Survivors include his parents, a brother, Fred, and a sister, Barbara; grandparents, Mr. Isabel Gonzalez of San Jose, CA, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Franks of Great Falls, MT, and Fred Warrington of Grand Falls; and a great-grandmother, Mrs. Amacleta Fernaaaandez of San Jose. WAYNE, Wesley

Wittmann -- Wesley Wayne, 82, a retired rancher, died Jan. 4, 1970, at home. He was born in Kansas and came to Buckeye in 1903 to ranch in the surrounding area. He moved to Wittmann several years ago. Survived by his wife, Audra; son, William of Blythe, Calif.; daughters, Mabel STAFFORD of Scottsdale and Estelle HERSCHFELD of California; sister, Winnie WAYNE of California; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Burial was in Green Acres Memorial Park, 401 N. Hayden. 1/5/1970.
