FARMER, Patricia Aline

Patricia Aline Farmer, 25, was killed Thurs., March 5, 1970, in an automobile accident in Coos Bay, OR. She was born in Memphis and came here in 1953. Husband, Danny; daughter, Patricia R.; son, David W.; mother, Mrs. Jessie JOHNSTON; sisters, Doris FLOYD, Sandra ROBINSON and Darline ROBINSON; brothers, Judd ROBINSON, Byron Hancock and David Harris, all of Phoenix and Thomas HARRIS of Caraway, Arkansas. Burial in Greenwood Memorial Park. 3/8-9/1970.

FARMER, Ray J.

Mesa -- Ray J. Farmer, 62, a retired baker, died Sat., dec. 12, 1970, in his home at 437 1st St. He was a native of Eddyville, IL, and came here in 1953. He was a member of VFW Post 1700 in Mesa. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Marie Gallimore, Palatine, IL, Mrs. Opal Randolph of Edinburg, IN, and Mrs. Juanita Davenport, Mesa. Burial in Green Acres Cemetery. 12/14/1970.

FESTICH, Huso

Huso Festich, 74, died Feb. 28, 1970, in Miami Inspiration Hospital. He was born in Yugoslavia and came to the U.S. in 1912 and to Phoenix from Los Angeles in 1935. He moved to Miami in 1955. He was employed as excavation activities for construction of Coolidge Dam, Bartlett Dam, Waddell Dam at Lake Pleasant, and Horse Mesa Dam. Wife, Frances; a daughter, Mrs. John Gregovich of Claypool; a brother and a sister in Yugoslavia and two grandchildren. Services were in Miami Presbyterian Church. Burial in Pinal Cemetery. 3/1/1970.

FIELDS, Melvin J.

Melvin J. Fields, 22, a maintenance man at the Phoenix Zoo, died Wed., Mar. 4, 1970, in Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born in Phoenix and had been a Golden Gloves boxer. Wife, Linda; four sons, Curtis D., Rodney L., Melvin J., Jr., and Richard; parents, Mr. and Mrs. James FIELDS; one brother, James T.; and one sister, Debbie A. FIELDS, all of Phoenix. Services were at the Phillips Memorial Church, 1401 E. Adams. Burial in Greenwood Memorial Park. 3/9/1970.

FIFIELD, Judith

Mesa -- Judith Fifield, 31, a native of Norton, Kansas, moved to Mesa in 1967 from Hayward, CA, and died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 1969, in Phoenix Memorial Hospital. Husband, Jerry L.; daughters, Kim B. and Jan B., both of Mesa; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter A. BOYD of Wellsville, UT; two brothers and three sisters out of state. Services and burial in Wellsville, Utah. Published in the Arizona Republic 1/1-2/1970.

FITZPATRICK, Frances Ochoa

Frances Ochoa Fitzpatrick, 33, was born in Scottsdale. Husband, Joe; daughters, Frances, Ramona, and Rene; mother, Mrs. Dolores OCHOA; brothers, Augustine and David; sisters, Barbara OCHOA and Theresa NORIEGA, Margaret DALY, Mary Ann ARVIZU and Lisa MOSS. 3/6/1970.

FORSYTH, Paul E.

Mesa -- Paul E. Forsyth, 72, who retired as an assistant chief after 27 years with Denver Fire Department, died Dec. 17, 1970. Mr. Forsyth came here in 1965 from Denver. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Mesa Oriental Masonic Lodge 20 and the Church of Religious Philosophy. FOSTER, Joseph Claude

Prescott -- Joseph Claude Foster, 77, died Fri., March 6, 1970, in Yavapai Community Hospital. He was born in Pima and came to Prescott ten years ago. He operated cattle ranches in Gila County and Colorado before retiring. He was a member of the AZ Cattle Growers Assn and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include his wife, Sylvia; three daughters, Mrs. Claudia NOBLE, Mrs. Laree SMITH of Buckeye, Mrs. Madge OLDEWAGE of Orange, CA; a sister, Winnie HORRELL of Globe; two brothers out of state; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery. 3/8/1970.
