Globe -- Funeral services for Mrs. Jean Vanhorne, 70, owner of the Vanhorne Cottages here who died Friday, January 29, 1960, at her home, will be tomorrow at Walker's Globe Mortuary. Bishop H. J. Pace of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will officiate. Graveside services will be conducted by the Pythian Sisters, Monroe Temple No. 4, at the Globe Cemetery. Mrs. Vanhorne, born in Socorro, N.M., had been a resident of the Globe-Miami area for 58 years. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and the Pythian Sisters. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Helen Merrill, Vista, California; a son, Harold S. Lee, Cupertino, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Portia A. Erickson and Mrs. Helen Evans, both of Globe; and a grandson. The Arizona Republic Monday, 1 February 1960.

Private services for Mrs. Florence Vaughan, 84, who died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1960, in a Phoenix hospital, will be today in Chapel of Memories, A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams. The Rev. I. W. Atwood will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park. Mrs. Vaughan, a native of Texas, came to Arizona nine years ago. She lived in Tucson seven years and had been a Phoenix resident the past 22 months. She lived at 4535 E. Van Buren. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lottie King; and a son, Ray, both of Phoenix; and a siter, Mrs. Laura Wilburn, Carlsbad, N. M. The Arizona Republic Tuesday, February 2, 1960.
