Schrattenthal is located in Lower Austria, on the former crossroads between Moravia, Bohemia and Austria. Because of its strategic importance it was granted the rights of a town more than 500 years ago. Today it has the size of a village yet it is still formally a town; the second smallest town in Austria. |
