Herzogtum Bayern: Kaiser Konrad II überträgt am 7. Juni 1027 die
Grafschaft Norital, die von Bozen über den Brenner bis ins Inntal
reichte, dem Bischof von Brixen.
With this document began the independence of the later Tirol from the Herzogtum Bayern (Dukedom Bavaria): June 7, 1027 Emperor Conrad II transfers the Grafschaft (Earldom) Norital to the bishop of Brixen. Norital extends from Bozen across the Brenner-Pass to the valley of the river Inn. *) |

den Namen: Schloß Tirol bei Meran, hier auf einem alten Foto, aufgenommen
um 1875 vor dem Wiederaufbau des Turms (rechts im Bild), der inzwischen zu
einem Wahrzeichen Tirols geworden ist.

wichtigsten Urkunden aus der Geschichte Tirols: Margarethe Maultasch und
ihre Räte als Vertreter der Bevölkerung besiegeln die Übergabe Tirols
an die Habsburger. One of the most important documents concerning the history of Tirol: Margareth Maultasch and her counsels as deputies of the population seal the transfer of Tirol to the Habsburgs. *) which took eventually place in 1363

| Die Beschlüsse
des "Baiernlandtags" von 1525 wurden - etwas abgeändert und vom
Ständeausschuß ergänzt - am 1. Mai 1526 als neue, erstmals gedruckte
Landesordnung veröffentlicht. Die Titelseite zieren das vielteilige, von der Kette des Ordens vom Goldenen Vlies umgebene Wappenschild des Hauses Habsburg sowie die Wappen von Österreich und Tirol. The resolutions of the Baiernlandtag (Bavarian Provincial Diet) from 1525 were published - somewhat changed and modified by the Staendeausschuss (Council of the Tyrolean Diet) - as first printed Landesordnung (provincial constitution.) The front page shows the arms of the house of Habsburg, surrounded by the necklace of the Order of the Golden Fleece, and the arms of Austria and Tirol. *) |
