Membership

Monthly meetings are held at the Association's Library Room at 14 Highway St., North Rockhampton on the first Saturday of every second month (excepting January) commencing 10.00am.

The Association publishes a quarterly journal, 'The C.Q. Genieologist", which is issued free of charge to members. Members are invited to advertise in the journal free of charge.

Country members are assisted with brief specific requests for information from our library holdings, or with advice on how to proceed with their research in more difficult situations.

A constantly growing library of research material, with an extensive microfiche collection as well as a comprehensive list of paper based records, including the latest British I.G.I., Civil Registration Indexes, British 1881 Census, Shipping lists, Gazetteers, G.R.D., Almanacs etc., and receives journals from many Genealogical and Family History Societies throughout Australasia, England, Ireland and Scotland.

The Central Queensland Family History Association Inc. is a member organisation of both the Australasian Federation of Family History Organisations and the Federation of Family History Societies in the U.K.

Free library borrowing - 2 books & 4 journals at a time (reference material excepted) - See supervisor on duty.

Free assistance from experienced researchers.

Fees:

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP / SUBSCRIPTION  FEES:       

 ANNUAL PERIOD   - 1ST JULY TO 30 JUNE

Pro-rata fees are available for those joining part-way through the year  - please talk to the Librarian on duty

Renewal of fees becomes due on 1 July each year. A notice will be included in the June Journal.
