5. Accounts dated 24 Mar 1754: Jamaica Revenue. Received 21 Jun 1754. ( pages of entries under headings of: ‘Account of New Impost’ and ‘Account Current of His Majesty’s revenue’. Former has: By sundries for entry at Kingston since 27 Oct last: e.g. John HUMBLE, Refined Sugar, 29 Oct, £23 3s 6d. Latter has: Cash paid Orders of Council: e.g. One (order?) of 3rd October 1753 in favour of Francis Delap Esq., for goal (sic) fees allowance to insolvent debtors. Many names in lists.

42. Letter dated 29 Oct 1754 from Gov Knowles to My Lords with affidavit saying John Gregory lied when he said Knowles had sent him!

47. Account of white families & Artificers introduced to Jamaica following two acts passed 2 Dec 1749 and 27 Nov 1752. Includes Names, members of family (i.e. wife and two children). Contains about 150 names. Also, similar document, acts dated 15 May 1736, 21 May 1743, 2 Jul 1747, 27 Oct 1750. Contains Names, number in family, number of acres granted, place where, date of their patent, their expence. Contains about 110 people.

48. Report of committee of Assembly of Jamaica dated 26 Oct 1752 with regard to encouragement given to new settlers.

49. Accounts of Bath in parish of St Thomas in the East. Lists money paid to various people and purpose; e.g. To cash paid their order to Thomas Ranfeild Russell for clearing 50 acres of land.

52. List of Quit Rent Bonds and Escheat Bonds dated 31 Dec 1754. Gives date, name, pricipal and due. E.g. Dec 12 1694, James Casteers, Principal 13s 9d, Due: £1 7s 6d. About 75 names on list. Dates going back to: 1694.

53. Dockets of Patents of Land vested in His Majesty for the use of newcomers virtue of the laws made for encouragement of new settlers since 1734. 208 dockets.

54. List of ships entering Jamaica from Africa between 22 Sep 1752 and 25 Sep 1754 with number of negroes imported and exported . Gives Date, name of vessel, master, to whom consigned and number of negroes. About 75 vessels.
