The purpose of the First Families of Stone County is to honor our pioneer ancestors who were the founding families of Stone County, to identify and recognize descendants of these families, and promote research into the genealogy, history, customs, and culture of the county.

To become a member you must provide proof that your ancestors lived within the current boundaries of Stone County prior to the county's formation in 1873 and December 31, 1880.
