Located on the Sherman Dellinger Farm near Springtown, AR. |

There are no stones left and this story is told by Mr. Dellinger's
father. The men of the family were gone to the Civil War when
a roving band of bushwhackers came through the country |
|
and killed the women. Neighbor women came in and buried the the
murdered women in a field near the house.
Mr. Dellinger says
that as far back as he can remember the field was |
|
called "The Graveyard Field". No one seems to know
the names nor how many were buried there. |
