Brown, Adam Lee . .
5 February 1974 - 17 March 2010
Chief Special Warfare Operation (SEAL)
Brown was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and graduated from Lake Hamilton High School. He joined the Navy in 1998 been assigned to various East Coast-based SEAL teams since April of 2001 and was deployed in his eighth combat mission. Adam was mortally wounded while trying to flank the enemy to protect his teammates. By his actions, he saved the lives of several of his men.
Chief Special Warfare Operator (SEAL) Adam Brown was a highly decorated combat veteran with numerous awards including the Silver Star Medal, Bronze Star Medal with Valor, Joint Service Commendation Medal with Valor, Purple Heart Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals (total: 5), Iraq Campaign Medal (Total: 3+), Afghanistan Campaign Medal (Total: 4+), Global War on Terrorism (Service) Medal, Global War on Terrorism (Expeditionary) Medal, Navy Unit Commendation, Combat Action Ribbon (Operation Iraqi Freedom), Combat Action Ribbon (Operation Enduring Freedom), and numerous other personal and (and confidential) unit decorations.
A book, Fearless, by Eric Blehm was released May 22, 2012, about the life of Adam Brown.

Brown is buried in Cunningham Cemetery, Garland County, Arkansas.

Holloway, James E., III
24 November 1943 - 21 April 2014
Dr. Lt. Colonel Holloway was drafted into the Army out of junior college and served in the Vietnam War in the 4th infantry Recon Division from 1968 until 1970. He remained in the Army Reserves and after his return and was called again to active duty in February 2003. He served in Kuwait and Iraq for four months before being injured. He died due to the injuries he receives in Iraq.
Holloway is buried in Pinecrest Memorial Park, Alexander, Saline County, Arkansas. 1

Richards, Steven Donald
26 May 1972 - 26 December 2011
Richards was born in Magnet Cove, Arkansas, and graduated from Magnet Cove High School in 1990. He was a noncommissioned officer, E-6, U.S. Army veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003-2004 and served in the Army Reserves A company, 489th Engineer Battalion from 1998-2006 as a combat engineer and track driver. His military honors and awards include the Global War on Terrorism and the Army Commendation medal during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Richards is buried in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.

Thomas, James Michael
6 November 1974 - 2 March 2014
After graduating from Arkansas Tech University, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force from which he was retired. In 2006, James was deployed in Iraq, during operation IRAQI Freedom and is a recipient of the Iraqi campaign medal. For his service, he was awarded the Air Force expeditionary service medal. 1
