Directions from Hot Springs: From Central Avenue, take West Grand Avenue going east and travel 4.7 miles; take the Westinghouse Drive exit (exit 5); turn right onto Westinghouse Drive after the exit; go a very short distance and take a left onto Spring Street. Travel .6 miles and the cemetery is located at the intersection of Spring Street and Old Church Road.

Morning Star Cemetery Association

The Morning Star Cemetery Association asked us to include the following on the webpage containing the reading of their cemetery:
Donations to the Morning Star Cemetery Association are tax deductible. They are tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code. Therefore, the contributions are considered to be charitable donations; and, therefore, fully deductible.
In these and future days of cost increases, it will be increasingly difficult to manage from a budget constructed from yesterday's savings. The past has been to sell lots and spaces, receive and invest that cash into secure accounts that pay interest. The interest from those accounts would be enough to pay for the maintenance of the cemetery. That is not happening any more. The interest rates have dropped, and the cost of maintenance has increased and will probably continue to increase in the future.
The Board of Directors appreciates all donations, large or small, from those wishing to honor their mother, father or any other relative by making a tax-deductible donation.
