BUCKVILLE CEMETERY
Jessieville, Garland County, Arkansas
Buckville Cemetery is located on the edge of Lake Ouachita in the northern part of Garland County, Arkansas.
An annual homecoming and decoration of graves is held the second Sunday in June. The home places of most of the people buried here lies under the Ouachita that took them when the lake was formed in the 1950s. Take Highway 5 north out of Hot Springs. Turn on 7 north go past Hot Springs Village and turn left on Highway 298. Go about 20 miles and turn left at Buckville Road. Follow road until paved road ends; you will stop at a stop sign and travel across on a dirt road. Follow road to dead end, you will see the church and cemetery in view.
