MILLS, WILLIAMS, STROUD, BROWN - George W. Mills and Elizabeth Williams married in Pulaski County Arkansas in 1850 and were on the 1850 census there in Eagle township. The nearest towns today at Keo and England which are both in Lonoke county. I am searching for information on cemeteries in that area that might have MILLS or WILLIAMS families buried there. I saw a list of the cemeteries in Lonoke county but without knowing where each were located it would be difficult to decide which one to purchase. Is there anyone out there who can assist me in the research of these two families? I will share what I have with anyone interested. KELLEY, WOOLDRIDGE - Seeking information on the KELLEY and WOOLDRIDGE families. Thomas A. KELLEY m. Frances "Frankie" Marie Wooldridge 1909 in Saline Co., AR. Thomas d. Oct 1912 in or near Des Arc, AR. At the time that they were married, Thomas was living in England AR and Frankie somewhere in Pulaski Co. Interested in finding information on them, as well as Charles Kelley, who may have been a brother of Thomas (Charles had taken care of Thomas's two children, William and Ollie May, for a short while after Thomas passed away. BOSTICK, MCKEE, DAVIS - I am searching for Catherine Caldonia Bostick, her parents were Thomas Jefferson Bostick and Sallie A. McKee. They were married May 31, 1876, and the marriage was recorded June 4, 1876 in the county of Lonoke, Ark. Catherine Caldonia married a Miles Mexico Davis and his father may have been Elias N. Bostick. Catherine and Miles moved to OK, and censes of 1910 shows them to be living in Pottawatomie County in OK. Note in my late mother-in-laws Opal Helen Davis Moore's effects referes to a Homer Bostick an attorney in Cabot, Ark. No other information on Homer, but thought this might be some connection. Bobbitt, Brown - Mattie Bobbitt died in 1969 in Lonoke, Ark. Her husband was W. D. Brown, married July 10, 1910. I am trying to locate obituary to verify this is same Mattie Bobbitt Brown born in Barber, Ark about 1890 to Felix Monroe Bobbitt and wife (Name unknown). DUVALL - Looking for surname DuVall. I do not have much on the family. My grandfather was born late 1890's, he was Daniel L. DuVall, he died of heatstoke and is buried in MS. He died on July 4, 1941. He may have had a brother named John DuVall which may have been a step brother and he had a possible sister again 1/2 sister. It is believed his father was also Daniel DuVall. Daniel L. DuVall married a Cole. It is thought this DuVall line is from DuVall Bluffs and that the homestead was there [may still be] it is also believed John DuVall and his sister ended up with the homestead after there fathers death. MCPEAK, BRANSON - I am desperately trying to find information on my Father's side of the family. His name was Shelby McPeak. He was born in 1892, in England, Arkansas. We never knew anything about his family as his parents died when he was around 7 years age. We don't even now his parents' first names. The 1900 census shows him living with his maternal grandparents. Their names are listed as George & Annie Branson, living in England, Arkansas. MCKEE,STEWART,BOSTIC - I am researching my paternal grandparents John Robert Stewart m.1879 Calidonia Ann McKee. They lived in El Paso, Ar. until my Grandfathers death in 1921. My father Jack Stewart then moved to Lonoke and Grandma lived with them for awhile. She died in Lonoke in Jan. 1941. Grandma McKee had three siblings Sarah (Sallie Ann) born 1855 m. Thomas J. Bostic in Lonoke, Mary McKee b. 1857 and John A. (Buck) McKee b. 1862, Lonoke married Sarah Bostic. These McKees were in the 1870 White co. census showing E. McKee Female as head of household and the children. The death certificate for John McKee gives his place of birth as York Township Lonoke co. I understand there father died in 1867 and that E. Mckee moved to Lonoke where she died in 1909 according to family lore. I have also been told my a relative that E McKee was Mary Boardman, don't know if she remarried or that was her maiden name. DUKE, HIGH - Sometime after 1849 and before 1880, the Wiley T. High family moved to Prairie or Lonoke County, Ar. They are on the Jasper County Ga. census in 1850. They moved first to Ala. where Wiley may have died. Mary Duke High and some of her children moved to Ark and then some of the boys ended up in Crockett Texas. Children were John W. , Elizabeth, Wiley Jr., Martha, Henry, William and Robert A. High. All born in Ga. Wiley Jr enlisted in the confederate army at DeKalb and was with Pratts Battery of Artilery attached to Parsons Texas Cavalery Brigade. PETTY - We are looking for information on Thomas Ferguson Petty and Nancy Caroline Beckham Petty. Thomas was born 3-21-1863 and died 9-8-1935 in Cabot, Lanoke County, Ark. POPE, EMERSON - I am looking for any information on the family of Henry Bainbridge Pope, who moved from Floyd County Georgia, to Lonoke County, Arkansas, possibly Cabot sometime in 1890. Henry died in Lonoke County September 21, 1898. I would like to know where he is buried, if there were any obituaries in local newspaper regarding his death, wills, or estate probates,etc. He had a large family, wife was Mary Elizabeth Bilbro Pope, who later moved to Alabama. One of his daughters, Sara (Sarah) Pope, married a J.L. Emerson. from Lonoke County, who died in 1916. BRENTS, EDMON(D)SON, GRANT, HENSON, MCARTHUR - I do not know where she was born or who her parents were. The only evidence I have of her life is two marriage licenses one for 1890 and one for 1897 and the 1900, 1910, 1920 census records. She was born ~1870 - 1873, maybe as late as 1875 died 1942. (I have been unable to locate a death certificate on her only an obituary no social security either.) She was suppose to have a brother, Jim or Wayne Grant but I can't find him listed on anything! She was married 3 times and had children by all three husbands. All her children are deceased. She lived all her life in AR as far as I can tell. The counties I found her in, Jackson, Conway, Yell, Lonoke. She may have been born in OK, but it would have been before OK became a state. SHORT, LOWERY, GARRETT - Seeking info for grandmother Christine T Lowery, born Aug. 18,1913, in England or possibly Warren, AR. Parents names may have been Arch & Sally Lowery according to Missoulian (Montana) Obit. for Oct. 26, 1988. Montana does not release death records for 30yrs. She married my grandfather Ollie Lee Short from Woodruff Co., AR. Have not been able to find record of marriage. They lived in Augusta, AR. at time of my mothers birth in 1939. MORGAN, ROBERTS - Looking for information about LULL EVA ROBERTS (3/11/1879 to 1910) and husband ARTHUR WINFIELD MORGAN (July 1873 to 1947/65?) She was born in Butlerfield? Arkansas, possibly Lonoke county, and he was born in Paris, Henry county, Tennessee. Lull had a sister, MOLLIE, who married a man with last name of SMITH and lived in North Little Rock, Pulaski county, Arkansas. Lull’s brother WILL A. married MATTIE BAILEY and also lived in Pulaski county. LULL, WILL A. and MOLLIE ROBERTS were Cajun French and parents supposedly moved to Arkansas from Nova Scotia.
