RICHARD SHELTON 
ASHDOWN, Ark.--Richard Shelton, 81, of Ashdown died Friday, Dec. 30, 2005, in Texarkana. 
Mr. Shelton was born July 4, 1924, in Monticello, Ark. He was a forester for Townsend Lumber Co., a mill owner and a World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Williams Shelton. 
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Shelton of Ashdown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Yvonne Shelton of Monticello and Don and Donna Shelton of Cabot, Ark.; one daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Kirk Price of Austin; one stepson, Brent Stewart of West Fork, Ark.; one stepdaughter, Vicki Vestre of Rock Springs, Wyo.; one sister-in-law, Doris Shelton; seven grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and four nieces. 
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Madden Funeral Home with Ralph Burns officiating. Burial will be in Ashdown Cemetery.
