EMMA ROYAL

ASHDOWN, Ark.--Emma Royal, 70, of Foreman, Ark., died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006, in a Little Rock hospital.

Mrs. Royal was born May 19, 1935, in Foreman. She was retired from Foreman School District and De Queen-Mena Education Cooperative and a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Jimmy Wilder of Forrest City, Ark.; one daughter, Vicky Walker of Texarkana; two brothers, Andrew Wilder of El Paso, Texas, and Evester Lee Hunter of Yucca Valley, Calif.; two sisters, Dorothy Barr of Dayton, Ohio, and Mattie L. Wilder of Little Rock; one aunt, Beauty Hooks of Ashdown; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Matthews Baptist Church, Foreman, with the Rev. Ronnie Keener officiating. Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery under direction of Hamburg Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body may be viewed 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
