GROVER OGLESBY
DE QUEEN, ARK.—Grover Henry Oglesby, 85, of Haworth, Okla., died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, in an Idabel, Okla., hospital.
Mr. Oglesby was born Feb. 3, 1920, in Arkinda, Ark. He was a carpenter, a carpet installer and a Protestant.
Survivors include his wife, Essie Sexton Oglesby of Haworth; one son, Bill Oglesby of Haworth; three brothers, Howard Oglesby and Dale Oglesby of Crossroads, Ark., and Bruce Oglesby of Foreman, Ark.; two sisters, Velma Green of Wichita, Kan., and Verna Sellers of Texas; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Piney Cemetery with James McRae officiating. Burial will be under direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
