FUNERAL SERVICES FOR CAGE MEARS HELD WEDNESDAY AT ALLEENE
 Alleene May 29 (Special) Cage Mears, age 62, died at his home in Horatio 
 at 6 o'clock Tuesday morning after a long illness.  Funeral services were 
 held here at the home of his nephew, W H Mears, Wednesday at 2pm with Rev 
MT Rose in charge.
 Mr Mears death was a shock to his many Alleene friends, few of whom 
 realized that he was seriously ill.  He is survived by his widow, Mrs 
 Barbra Mears, and four sons and four daughters, all of Kansas City and one 
brother, Jim Mears, of Texarkana; a number of other relatives and friends 
also survive. Died:  May 13 1930
