JIMMIE LAROSE Jimmie Clyde LaRose, 59, of Ashdown, Ark., died Monday, Feb. 20, 2006, in an Ashdown hospital. Mr. LaRose was born July 5, 1946, in Fort Lewis, Wash. He was a retired printer, a Navy veteran and a member of Sulphur River Bow Fishing Club, Frisco Hunting Club and Trinity Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy “Jimbo” LaRose. Survivors include his wife, Mary LaRose of Ashdown; one daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and John Reed of Ashdown; one granddaughter, Jaci Bellot of Ashdown; one stepgrandson, Briar Reed of Ashdown; three sisters, Ruby Cox of Ashdown and Gracie LaRose and Betty Walker of Texarkana; one special nephew, Wesley LaRose of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at East Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Cranford Graves officiating. Burial will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Relatives will be at the home of Melissa and John Reed, 102 LR 229, Ashdown.
