HENRY HOOKS SR.
ASHDOWN, Ark.-Henry Hooks Sr., 66, of Foreman, Ark., died Monday, May 3, 2004, in a Texarkana hospital.
Mr. Hooks was born Oct. 27, 1937, in Foreman. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Leola Hooks of Foreman; three sons, Ricky Hooks and Roy L. Hooks of Foreman and Henry Hooks Jr. of Ventura, Calif.; one daughter, Barbara Hooks of Foreman; four brothers, Otis Hooks of Fort Worth, Texas, Odell Hooks of Columbus, Ohio, Willie Hooks Jr. of Euless, Texas, and Ray C. Hooks of Austin; six sisters, Georgia Gregory of Los Angeles, Pierley Crosslan and Helen Rowden of Hooks, Texas, Bertha Gregory of Gardena, Calif., Lillie Johnson of Euless and Velman Haron of Las Vegas; four grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John Baptist Church, Foreman, with the Revs. Eddie Estell and Robert Easter officiating. Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery, Wallace, Ark., under direction of Hamburg Funeral Home.
