ROY BENNETT
ASHDOWN, Ark.—Roy Carol Bennett, 62, of Ashdown died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2006, in Ashdown.
Mr. Bennett was born Jan. 26, 1943, in Arden, Ark. He was a retired mechanic, an owner of a wrecker service, a member of First Assembly of God and an Air Force reservist.
Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Thomas Cox of Ashdown; three nieces, Kristi Newton of Wilton, Ark., Teresa DeLoney of Ashdown and Regena Way of Hot Springs, Ark.; one nephew, Tommy Cox of Fort Gordon, Ga.; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Assembly of God with Donnie DeLoney and Tim DeLoney officiating. Burial will be in Ashdown Cemetery under direction of Madden Funeral Services.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
