CHARLES BEARD 
HOPE, Ark.—Charles Beard, 58, of Ashdown, Ark., died Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, in Ashdown. 
Mr. Beard was born Nov. 8, 1947, in Hope. He was a cattle and poultry farmer, a Baptist and a Vietnam War Navy veteran. 
Survivors include two sisters, Betty Jenkins and Pat Cummings of Ashdown; two nieces, Kristi Plumley of Hope and Lisa White of Royse City, Texas; one nephew, Randy Hartness of Benton, Ark.; and a number of other relatives. 
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Memory Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Marcus Murphy officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. 
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
