Mrs. Edward Barrett
Funeral services for Mrs.Edward J. (Eva) Barrett, 56, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Broadway Funeral Home, the
Rev. Robert Carlson officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Barrett died at 8:55 p.m. Sunday at John Sealy Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born July 7, 1916, in Forman, Ark. She lived at 2319-103rd St.
Survivors Include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. June Davis of Galveston; two sons, John C. Davis and Alvin Walker
of Galveston; a sister. Mrs. Earl I (Lena) Litchford of Arkansas; a brother, P C. Jones of Arkansas; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wallace Sprattllng, Johnny Christopher, James Forest, Walter Forest, Leon Summerall and Victor
Kirklighter.
