MRS. TURNEY DIES

Mrs. Susan (Geaney)Turney, age 82, died February 15, 1931 at the home of her son P.G. Turney near Ashland with whom she has made her home for a number of years. Funeral Services were conducted by Rev. Will Kearns and she was laid to rest in the picturesque little cemetery of Kiowa by the side of her husband, C.D. Turney who preceeded her in death fourteen years ago.

Mrs. Turney united with the Baptist church in early youth and her life was truly one of service sacrifice devotion and love. Five sons John H Turney Higdon, Arkansas; P.G. Turney Haywood; W.B. Turney Konawa; W.A. Turney McAlester; R.H. Turney Randlett; a daughter Mrs. Millie Lynn Albany and a number of grandchildren and great grand children survive.
